Endometriosis Action Plan

Did you know endometriosis can be triggered by a combination of factors including hormone imbalances, stress and nutritional deficiencies. There are, however, a number of quick ways to help you alleviate the symptoms.

There are five main stages to the action plan, and they focus on the following:-

1. Improving your diet, based on the recommendations from your nutritionist

2. Using supplements and other natural remedies to help control the pain while you are working on the underlying cause

3. Controlling levels of excess oestrogen your body may be producing or taking in from your environment

4. Improving your liver function. Your liver is responsible for excess oestrogen from your body

5. Boosting your immune system so your body becomes capable of recognising endometrial patches outside the womb as being ‘invaders’ and subsequently destroys them.

Common Symptoms Include:

- Chronic pelvic pain

- Fatigue
- Difficulty getting pregnant
- Digestive issues like bloating and nausea.

Too many people struggle for years before receiving a diagnosis, often feeling isolated with their concern – get in touch with us as our Nutrition team are very experienced f you need help in managing this condition.

Could Your Belly Fat Be Putting You at Risk for “Type 3 Diabetes”?

If you have fat around your middle, you may be at risk for what researchers are calling “Type 3 Diabetes”—a condition that primarily affects the brain.

Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease.

Type 2 Diabetes develops when the body becomes resistant to insulin due to excess sugar and carb consumption.

Type 3 Diabetes occurs when brain cells stop responding to insulin, leading to memory loss, cognitive decline, and even Alzheimer’s disease.

One of the biggest risk factors? Excess belly fat. This type of fat is especially harmful because it secretes hormones that drive insulin resistance, accelerating brain ageing and damage.

The good news? You can take action NOW.

Join Dr. Marilyn Glenville, PhD for this FREE webinar where she will discuss what steps to take to gently and sustainably lose belly fat - helping you lower your risk of insulin resistance and protect your brain health.

This will be a pre-recorded session, but rest assured all the questions you send in during the webinar will be collected and answered individually by email post webinar.

Could Intermittent Fasting Be Making It Harder to Lose Belly Fat?

Intermittent fasting has been a hot topic in the health world. Many influencers promote it as a “miracle solution” for weight loss…

But the reality is more complex than is often claimed.

Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern where you restrict calories on certain days (like the 5:2 diet), triggering hormonal and metabolic changes that can benefit digestion, mental clarity, and overall health.

However, if you have fat around your middle, intermittent fasting may actually work against you.

Belly fat isn’t just extra weight - it’s ’toxic fat’ that acts as a hormone factory, fuelling insulin resistance and stress responses. Instead of burning fat, your body holds onto it, making weight loss even harder.

The good news? There’s a better way.

Join Dr. Marilyn Glenville, PhD for this FREE webinar where she will reveal the most effective eating rhythm to lose stubborn belly fat - without triggering stress signals that can make your body cling to weight.

This is a pre-recorded session, but don’t worry - any questions you send during the webinar will be collected and answered individually by email.
