Over the last couple of weeks, we've been participating in a gifts in Wills campaign, raising awareness about the importance of leaving gifts in Wills! 🟢

Hospice in the Weald is here not only to provide care to our patients but also to support loved ones in some of the most difficult times. The campaign comes to an end today, but you can still make a difference, now and in the future.

565 family members received post-bereavement support in 2024/25. One way to help continue the care in our community is by leaving a gift in your Will. 📝

We're thrilled to announce that we'll be holding a Spring Love Your Labels Lock-in on 23rd April! 🙌

Taking place at our Tonbridge Superstore, the event will give our shoppers a chance to get their hands on designer and high-end high street pieces, whilst refreshing their spring wardrobes for less.

This week’s celebrates The Indian Dish, who chose Hospice in the Weald as their Charity of the Year for 2025 and have supported us in so many fantastic ways! 🤝

From helping with our Christmas Tree Recycling Campaign (both last year and this year) to catering our 2024 business quiz, and donating over 500 water bottles and staffing the water station at our 2025 Moonlight Walk, their commitment has been truly wonderful.

They also raised a fantastic £300 through a raffle at their Bollywood Night in Maidstone. A huge thank you to the whole Indian Dish team for your amazing support throughout 2025. 👏

Moonlight Walk returns on 27th June, make sure it’s in your calendar! 🗓️

Throughout January, patients and their loved ones supported by our Spiritual Support and Living Well teams have been working on Remembrance Robins! ☺️

🎨 The robins have been created with self-hardening clay, hand-painted, hung up on trees in Pembury and Five Ashes, and made into beautifully crafted brooches.

Many people are comforted by the sight of a robin, and the art activity gave way to moments of reflection, remembrance, and mindfulness. 💭

🗣️ Claire, Spiritual Support Lead and Chaplain at the Hospice, said: "Often, it is nature that brings us into focus, and engaging with nature in our bereavement can bring healing. The robins have been popular with patients, families and colleagues, and we hope we can repeat the initiative each January as a new year encouragement and opportunity for mutual support.”

A big to Hunters for hosting their annual Charity Shoot Day in support of Hospice in the Weald! 👏

The day brought together colleagues, clients, suppliers and friends. Together, they raised an incredible £3,853 to help us continue providing compassionate care for patients and families in our community.
