Siblings, Austin and Immie, took part in Hospice Run last year in memory of their dad, Gerard, who was supported by Hospice in the Weald. 💚

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The family could spend precious time together in Gerard's last days, making memories to cherish.

We have two exciting Open Mornings coming up in October! 🎉

👉 Find out more about our transformation plans and how we are shaping the future of hospice care at our drop-in events at Five Ashes (9th October) and Pembury (10th October).

Feel free to drop in to the hospice nearest to you any time from 10am-12pm to talk to our executive team, nurses and patients about our plans, hear about the difference they will make for patients and visitors, and ask any questions you may have. 💚

🗨️ "All my friends got together, and we ran the 5K. They were so proud of themselves because they’re not really runners. They knew how important it was to me.”

Daniella took part in Hospice Run last year in memory of her granddad, Godfrey, who was cared for at the Hospice. 💚

🏃‍♀️ Here, she shares how, with the support of her friends, they all run the 5k to fundraise for a cause close to their hearts, despite not having much running experience.

At Hospice in the Weald, we support people to continue making the most of life. 🟢

🛩️ Gayle was joined by her closest friends and family as her husband flew over the Pembury Hospice in a Spitfire.

The trip was a gift from Gayle, who experienced this beautiful moment just two days before she died, surrounded by loved ones. 💚

🛒 With a fresh look and a wider range of items on offer, including furniture, household goods, clothing, CDs / DVDs / electricals, and more, the Tunbridge Wells Superstore is the perfect one-stop shop for affordable bargains and treasures.

A big thank you to everyone who came along on the opening day, helping us raise an incredible £3,168.63 for people facing terminal and life-limiting illnesses with every purchase. 🟢

It was a wonderful day at our Teddy Bear Picnic, expertly planned by Hospice in the Weald for Children! 🧸

☀️ With the sun shining, children and young people had their faces painted, played with bubbles, listened to live music and joined teddy bears scattered around the garden for some tasty picnic food.

Hayley, Children’s Healthcare Assistant, said: "These events do not just happen overnight, but they are made all the more worthwhile when we see the joy and happiness brought to the children, young people, and families that attend." 👨‍👩‍👦
