Give blood!
Today I gave my 43rd pint, although the system will say 35 because I’m so old I started giving when we got a stamp in a book and I had a pause where they didn’t carry over the record.
Also please join the donor system, so simple, but essential to talk to your family about your wishes first.

I can now offer blended learning, which means between a third and a half of the course can be done online before a shorter, more practically focussed, face to face session. This reduces the time that everyone who is doing the training needs to be 'off' at the same time and can also mean the training is cheaper for the longer courses.

After I had to delete my last post showing bleed control training because it contravened FB’s community values, here are some inside out faces drying for tomorrow’s Paediatric training in Isleworth.

Had a really hands on course today: Bleed Control Training.
This is the sort of training that needs to be done with young people who are out and about when things can go wrong and then their help could be time critical and lifesaving.
Despite the serious nature of the training, there was much fun to be had!
