How the pandemic has changed us, our life choices and our experiences? How had our work looked before and how is it at the moment? Are we going back to our "normal" life… and what if the answer is YES? What about the future? The world has changed - most of us are different as well. How will it be? I am inviting you to read my new blog - thought and dialogue with regards to our relationship to work and how this relationship may evolve in the months to come: https://bit.ly/3w2xvon

You are welcome to share your thoughts with me at: contact@tomdraketherapy.com

Perhaps now, more than ever, many across the world are facing an individual review of their life choices and experiences. Much has changed over the past year and a half and many decisions we took prior to the global pandemic may not be the choices we would choose today. This blog is designed to prom...

Celebrating that in today's Queens Speech to Parliament it will be proposed that conversion therapy will be outlawed after a short consultation period. This therapy is used to attempt to 'convert' members of the LGBT community into heterosexuals. For society to flourish it is essential that we have as a platform the celebration of diversity. I would urge everyone to get involved in the consultation phase to ensure that we can turn our backs on this controversial therapy.

The proposed ban in England and Wales will be announced in the Queen's Speech on Tuesday.

Mental Health Awareness Week and its topic. Nature - how powerful and strong it is. How unpredictable and calm at the same time it might be. Somehow like us. We do not live separately. We are connected, grounded and surrounded. So what is our relation? Are we close to it, thoughtful about us? I am inviting you to read my thoughts on my new blog: https://www.tomdraketherapy.com/post/a-moment-with-nature

When I first learned that the theme for this years Mental Health Awareness Week was nature, I thought what shall I write? What speaks to me? Then I probed a little deeper to explore my feelings to tune in to a felt sense of what nature means to me and this is what arose. Nature has always played an....

How „here” are your thoughts and you? Where is your „now”? In the future? In the past? How to handle it - especially when there is a storm outside and where to find ourselves? Paradoxically the answer is about our small steps and actions which obviously are not easy to achieve. But you can be sure - it is possible. I am inviting you to read my blog: The Art of Here and Now: https://www.tomdraketherapy.com/post/the-art-of-here-and-now

How many times have you found yourself wondering how the things we do possibly make a difference, sometimes these considerations may see us drift along without making attempts at the things we find challenging. Sometimes we may choose an alternative path for ourselves and realise that we really can....

It is a blossoming season. For nature and for us. Like a new beginning. What is it bringing to our lives? Fresh atmosphere and happiness or some kind of anxiety? Do we have enough energy to grow again? What if we don’t find it? You can find my thoughts on these topics on my new blog: The Symbolism of Spring - which you may find here: www.tomdraketherapy.com/post/the-symbolism-of-spring

For many Spring is the most beautiful time of the year. However for others it can also be a very difficult time of year and this is reflected in the dichotomy of the symbolism of spring and new life beginning entwined with the challenges of adjusting to new ways of life and new ways of being. Spring...
