Let’s talk about #5… 🧠
It might seem like a silly thing to ask — because of course everyone wants to get better, right?

Yes.
But “better” means something different for each of us.

As a physio, I might be thinking:
• rehab 4x a week
• tracking sets and reps on an app
• committing to 6 months of rebuilding
• celebrating your PBs with spreadsheets 😅

But I’ve learned… my enthusiasm isn’t always enough to carry you through that plan — and that’s okay.

Because your version of better might be:
✨ No pain during everyday tasks
✨ Sleeping comfortably again
✨ Getting through work or a walk without thinking about your injury

And if that’s your goal, that’s valid. That’s what we’ll work toward.
That’s why I find it so important to talk about what “better” actually means for YOU and be on the same page!

There was a time when pain seemed to disappear with a bit of rest, but now it lingers, stubbornly refusing to leave.

Simple daily tasks like carrying groceries or bending down to tie a shoe become little battles that interrupt the flow of the day.

The joy of moving without a second thought feels like a distant memory.

Recovery seems to drag on slower than expected, and the usual workouts trigger familiar aches.

Sometimes, it’s not about tolerating pain till it passes. Sometimes we need to figure out what is happening so that your pain doesn't become part of your personality 😬
