You can now book your flu vaccine online! 💉

Flu jabs are extremely important as we head towards Autumn and Winter. By getting the vaccine, you’ll give yourself the best possible protection against the virus.

The vaccine is available for free to anyone over 65, or anyone aged 18-64 who matches any of the following criteria:
- You have certain long-term illnesses
- You are pregnant
- You live in a care home
- You are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer’s allowance
- You live with someone who has a weakened immune system
- You are a frontline health and social care worker

If you’re aged 18-64, you can book a free flu vaccine if you:

The goal of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is to educate people about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer. Following guidance from the charity Breast Cancer Now, you should:

✋ TOUCH your breasts, checking if you can feel anything different.

👀 LOOK for changes, checking if anything looks out of the ordinary.

With children going back to school after the Summer Holidays, you might notice some illnesses starting to make their way around.

The Pharmacy First initiative allows pharmacists to prescribe medicine for a range of conditions, saving your family a trip to the GP.

Children aged 5 and over can receive medicine (if needed) to treat a sore throat from pharmacists, and children aged 12 and over can receive medicine (if necessary) to treat sinusitis.
