Come join me on a 6 week journey into meditation and mindfulness in my introductory course 'Living in the Moment' starting on Saturday 11th April, 1pm and finishing on Saturday 16th May. We will be meeting for an hour between 1-2 pm on six Saturdays in the above period. 🦋

Each session will cover a different theme related to finding inner calm, resilience and compassion, focussing on providing you with a complete toolkit to build your own meditation and mindfulness practice.

Handouts and recorded meditations will be shared following each session so that if you miss a lesson, you still have access to the resources and can ask questions🌷

Over the course of six weeks we will be working with the body, breath, movement, sensory awareness, self-care, emotional regulation and other tools and practices to help you become more present, calm and grounded in daily life. 🌸

The benfits associated with a regular meditation practice are multifold and include a reduction in stress, anxiety and rumination, learning to respond rather than react to situations, and cultivating calm, joy and gratitude by regulating the nervous system. 🌼

I spent a lovely morning Riichmond Carers Centre teaching simple mindfulness practices to a group of carers, encouraging them to prioritise self-care and find moments of calm, peace amd joy amidst the demands of their daily lives.

It was an enriching experience to share simple mindfulness tools and to notice how a few moments of turning their attention inwards shifted their perspective.

They dropped out of their busy minds into their bodies and made peace with the present moment as it was, without judgement or resistance.

They tuned into their breath and settled into a calm, grounded presence which allowed everything to unfold moment by moment.

The found true connection with themselves and others and were inspired to integrate mindfulness into their daily routine.

Life can sometimes feel challenging, stressful and overwhelming, but we can learn to navigate it with the right tools and resources.

We will be exploring what mindfulness is, where it comes from and how it can improve our overall well-being. Using simple practices focussed on the body and breath, you will learn how to ground yourself and become more present in daily life.

You will be guided to build your own practice and integrate mindfulness into your routine using simple tools such as mindful breathing, sensory awareness, spending time in nature and focussing on self-care

Happy Winter Solstice! A beautiful time to acknowledge, reflect and honour the light within that shines on in the midst of darkness.

When we allow all that is false to drop away, the truth reveals itself. Not in loud words but in soft whispers.

Love showers upon us as we rest in deep stillness, remembering our soul's ties to the ancient and sacred.

Preparing for rebirth and renewal. Returning to health and wholeness. Leaving behind the old ways and making space for freedom.

Was grateful for the opportunity to lead simple practices, share reflections, and emphasise the importance of mindfulness in our day to day life.

Humbled by the positive and heartfelt feedback from participants about how the session left them feeling calm and relaxed, inspiring them to create time and space for themselves, in the midst of their busy routine.
