Breathing Buddhies have teamed up with HuddleUp at All Souls to offer this amazing opportunity for carers to gain some valuable respite with chair yoga and a delicious homemade lunch. Click on the attachment for booking details. This event is free.

We have a FREE 6 week Mindfulness for Carers course starting on Thursday 24th May for carers to take part in an hour of chair yoga & mindfulness (no previous yoga experience needed) & then enjoy a lovely, homemade lunch in the cafe. It's an opportunity for carers to take a couple of hours to look after their own wellbeing, learn new relaxation methods & meet other carers in the beautiful All Souls Bolton.

We'll be taking bookings on a first come first serve basis so please share or get in touch if you'd like to book a place.

Our Story

Yoga classes involving movement, breathing exercises & meditation to help reduce stress and bring peace to the mind & body. Yoga is for EVERY body. Iโ€™ve been practising yoga and meditation from childhood. I love yoga and the benefits it brings to the mind & body for health, whether it be mental, physical or emotional.

Breathing Buddhies aims to introduce students to somatic movement which focusses, not on what you can do, for example, power, flexibility or stamina, but on each individuals internal experience of what you can feel. Learning to release and relax muscles that may be hindering your optimum mobility. Somatic movement enhances the relationship between the body and the mind. Deep relaxation and meditation finishes each session.

Breathing Buddhies for BiG folks brings yoga to adults of all ability including those with additional needs.

Breathing Buddhies for LiTTLE folks is aimed at children aged 3 -12 years old. Helping children to build strength and motor skills through healthy non-competitive fun activities. We also use techniques that help children process and understand strong emotional feelings and give them the tools to manage stress and anxiety to help them to build on their limited life experience. We also find ways of helping children articulate feelings and emotions in a way that they can easily relate to. In our family sessions, quite often itโ€™s the adults that learn new techniques of communicating with their children.
