March glimmers ✨ Very different moments that conjured up the same feels 🪄

From a big trip to Gdańsk, to finding nourishment in nature and chicken soup made by my husband whilst in my sick bed.

Reflecting on these moments in March reminded me that they are all glimmers because they met me exactly where I was at the time - mentally, physically and energetically.

Sometimes it’s all about the fancy night out, other times it's watching the waves crash against the shore. 🌊

These were safe, supportive and happy moments because they were without pressure or force. I felt like me!

And that’s enough. Actually, it's everything 💛

Let me tell you a true story 📖

The story of a busy mum who works from 7am to 10pm every day; either at home, with her kids or professionally. She needs to find small windows of still space to recharge and reconnect with herself, in amongst it all.✨️

This is my story, and it's not special. It's not unique or surprising. It's the story of a lot of working parents.

And thats why I created The Still Space. To meet you where you are - wherever and whenever that is.

Slow down. Step outside. Find your peace ‘afuera’ (outside). 🌿

Join us for a gentle afternoon in nature as Peace of Mind Meditation collaborates with afuera coffee for a calming outdoor experience in the beautiful Northumberland Park.

We’ll begin with a mindful walk through the park, using simple prompts to notice the sights, sounds and sensations of spring around us.

We’ll then settle into an outdoor guided meditation (please bring own cushion/blanket), grounding ourselves in nature, before finishing at the pink pod with a hot drink and time to relax and chat.

A love letter to some special people 🤍

So often on social media you only see the business highlights and successes.

You don’t see the hard work that's beneath it all.

The unpaid time, unsociable hours , the struggles, sacrifices and juggles. So often it's lonely, tiring, and can feel thankless and relentless. It's easy to question whether it's all worth it.
