Grace Hemingsley of Ffordd y Felin, Bryncrug, Tywyn passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, aged 84 years.

Beloved wife of Eric; loving mother of Tracey and Wayne; kind and caring Nan of Orry, April, Rachael and Scarlett, and the late Aaron; proud Great-Nan of Darcie, Esme and Orla.

She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Public Service at Aber Crematorium on Thursday 12th February at 12 noon.

Jane Ann Evans
Of Maes y Felin, Dolgellau, passed away peacefully after a short illness at Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth on Friday 23rd January 2026, aged 59 years.

Loving mother of Terry, Gareth, Megan and John; a proud and caring Nanna to all her grandchildren. A quiet lady, loved by many and liked by all, who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Public service to be held at Aberystwyth Crematorium on Monday 9th February at 11.00am. For those unable to attend the crematorium but wishing to pay their respects, the hearse will be passing the Torrent Walk Hotel at 9.40am on the morning of the funeral.

Mourners are invited to wear whatever they feel most comfortable in.

Margaret Ann Starling
of Plas Edwards, Tywyn, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday 4th January 2026, aged 81 years.

Beloved wife of Roger, loving mother of Mark and Julie, and a kind and caring Nan to Alex and Jess.

Margaret filled our lives with love, laughter and warmth. She will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle strength, and the many happy memories she leaves behind. Her love will remain with us always, and she will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Public Service to be held at St Cadfan’s Church, Tywyn, on Thursday 22nd January at 11.00am, followed by committal at Tywyn Town Cemetery.

Further opportunities to share memories of Margaret will take place at Aberdovey Golf Club following the service.

Of Sŵn y Wylan, Tywyn
passed away peacefully at Bronglais Hospital on Wednesday 31st December 2025, aged 80 years.

Beloved wife of Neville, loving mother of Tim and June, caring Nan to Wayne, Shaun, Adam and Nicholas, and an extremely proud Great-Nan to all her great-grandchildren.

Christine will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Public Service to be held at Aberystwyth Crematorium on Monday 19th January at 12 noon.

Further opportunities to share memories of Christine will take place at the Victorian Slipway, Tywyn from 2.30pm on the day of the funeral.

Mary Olive Davies
of Coed Y Fronallt, Dolgellau
passed away peacefully on 24th November 2025, aged 100 years, having earlier in the year received a 100th birthday greetings card from King Charles and Queen Camilla.

A memorial service will be held at Capel Ebeneser, Dolgellau, on Friday 23rd January 2026 at 1.00pm.

There will be a further opportunity to share memories of Mary with refreshments at the Royal Ship Hotel, Dolgellau, following the service.

Born Mary Gwyther, she spent her early years in London and Buckinghamshire, with her father’s family originating from Pembrokeshire, Wales. She married Hans Suessmann in 1954 and, following his early death in 1962, lived for many years in Sweden. Mary later moved to Dolgellau in her 50s, where her stepmother lived, and in 1988 married William Davies.

A lifelong walker, following a strong family tradition, Mary became an active member of the Meirionnydd Ramblers, continuing to join and lead walks to a remarkable age. Her clarity of thought remained with her until the end.

Margaret passed away peacefully on Sunday 28th December 2025, aged 85 years, with her sister Carys and her carers by her side.

Beloved daughter of the late Morgan and Maida; loving sister of Carys, Beryl and the late David; and a much-loved aunty.

“Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.”

Margaret will be laid to rest alongside her parents and her brother at Abertrinant Cemetery on Thursday 8th January at 12 noon, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Ty’n Ddol Chapel, Abergynolwyn at 1.00 p.m. Both services are public; however, attendance at the cemetery is optional.
