Pearlaroma

Pearlaroma My aim is to support those who care for loved ones, a safe space to be nurtured & listened to.

With many years experience (including life experience) as an Aromatherapist (ITEC) and Flower Essence Practitioner (BFVEA), I'm here to help with emotional and physical issues that often arise at the time of the peri-menopause and beyond. With Flower Essences and Essential Oils, I can support you during times of change and upheaval. My massage skills can help with relaxation, stress relief and tight muscles and together with products to use at home you don't need to feel out of your depth, confused or alone, I'm here to support with powerful help from nature.

Wishing you all a very Happy, Peaceful and Healthy Christmas.
Thank you for all your support over this year.
As in previous years, I am not sending cards but will be making a donation to the RNIB, who have been very supportive to Clive.

Blend 41 contains Star Anise, Pine, Clove, Cinnamon, Peppermint, Rosewood, Bergamot, Coriander, Sweet Orange, Eucalyptus essential oils.

These oils not only have antimicrobial and antiviral properties, but they also stimulate the immune system, helping you to fight off infection.

My gratitude today is to all of you. Whether you have joined in on the posts or done your own personal gratitude - like I do each morning on my dog walk. It's just such a lovely way to start the day and can really influence your mind set for the day ahead.
I hope you will feel inclined to keep it up.
So what are you grateful for today?šŸ’•

I know I've already done a couple of posts on our senses but whilst doing a little painting this afternoon - a Lilac blossom, one of my favourites for aroma and being aesthetically pleasing - it hit me how different my day would have been without them.
I am so grateful for my sight, for being able to read the daily texts I share with Katie (my daughter) and to watch the Christmas film tonight (it's nearly December) . I am grateful for my sense of taste - all my meals and the coffee, soup of red peppers and sweet potato and I won't mention the very calorific dinner I'm about to cook! I am grateful for my hearing and the music I could hear whilst doing some chores, even Clive practising his cornet šŸ˜‚. I am grateful for my sense of touch as I stroke our dogs and hold Clive's arm as we go out. I am grateful for my sense of smell - my morning coffee, the essential oils as I make us some bath products and the scented candle I'm lighting for this evening. Yes, I am very grateful for all my senses.

My gratitude today is for smiling and good humour. We were in town today for a few bits, something Clive doesn't find easy now especially as it's getting busy. Amongst the hustle and bustle of trying to choose some cards a lady smiled at me. I couldn't help but smile back and so we chatted! It got me thinking later of the fabulous poem by Spike Milligan - Smile - so I share it with you, I hope it brings a smile to you that you can pass on šŸ˜

It's a simple gratitude today but one I feel I sometimes take for granted. My gratitude for food, for being able to taste, to be able to buy so many varied foods just by walking down the road (or having it delivered as I do now!) Since being more aware of acting mindfully I do appreciate flavours more and don't eat so fast, appreciating taste and textures much more.

I've always liked a good de-clutter - you know the sort of thing - bills from 10 years ago, the ever present dried herbs several years out of date. - the clothes never worn! It's a great feeling to see space and tidiness (well I enjoy it!) and it means there's room in your wardrobe and cupboards for something new šŸ˜‰.
But it's not just practical, physical things that need to be released. What about the 'other stuff' that we cling on to because we fear what may happen if we say 'no more' - that relationship that is no longer good, the group we've joined but it really isn't doing it, the advertising campaign that just isn't working, the job that's keeping us awake all night. We know it's not right but are choosing to ignore the feelings. The signs are there - we feel miserable, that knot in the gut feeling but it's not easy, as this de-cluttering can lead to changes. In some cases massive changes, life changing stuff. So my gratitude comes from learning not to ignore the signs that it's time to let something go. Gratitude too for the tools available to help us make the changes - there are many out there but for me it is Flower Essences, so powerful and life changing.

Today I am so grateful to all the amazing people who give up their time to help others. Clive has just joined a group who help blind and the severely sight impaired to do crafts. There is lots of chatter and these fabulous people teaching new skills. There are many groups around like this one where people give their time and expertise to help others - thank you šŸ˜

Today has been a very frustrating day! One of those that could lead to 'loosing one's rag!
You know the sort, lots of irritating occurrences. The queue in the post office was horrendous and so slow (and that was after trying another one that was closed for refurbishment), my normal fuel at the garage unavailable so it was the expensive one or nothing, driving just 10 miles was fraught with hold ups and as for parking!!! And so it continued.
You get the drift, nothing that endangered us but annoying. So my gratitude comes from lessons I have learnt over the past 10 years, techniques that kept me calm (and my blood pressure from rising šŸ™€). I am also grateful that nothing was urgent this morning and that now I'm nearly retired I was able to come home, enjoy a hot chocolate with my book.
