If you live in East Sussex and are aged between 40-74, One You East Sussex can offer you a FREE 30–40-minute NHS Health Check at The Victoria Pavilion, Uckfield, on Wednesday 17th.

The NHS Health Check is a health check-up for adults in England aged 40-74. It's designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia. As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing one of these conditions. During the appointment you will find out ways to lower your risk.

To receive a health check, it is important that you meet the eligibility criteria stated below:

Aged 40-74
Resident of East Sussex and/or registered to a GP in East Sussex (not including Brighton and Hove)
NOT taking medication for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, atrial fibrillation, diabetes or kidney disease
Haven’t had an NHS Health Check in the past 5 years
Haven't previously had a heart attack, stroke or TIA
