Receptionist / Admin Assistant (Part-Time) – Uckfield
We are a small but busy private Integrative Medical Practice looking for someone who is task-committed, versatile, a good communicator, organised and self-motivated in solving problems. The role comprises of 20 hours over a 4-day week. The hours are Monday and Tuesday 1pm-5pm, Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 10am-2pm. The rate of pay is £13ph.
Previous experience in the care sector would be desirable or at least reception/admin experience in the public sector.
Duties include: -
Welcoming patients to the clinic, offering refreshments and getting paperwork completed;
Handling the incoming and outgoing post, emails and telephone calls;
Organising lab-tests/referrals/imaging requests and chasing up test results;
Dealing with patient appointments, queries and payments;
Invoicing service users; making payment transfers;
Product ordering and assist in stock-control;
Packaging, posting and managing deliveries;
Ensuring the correct paperwork is in place for repeat prescriptions when requested;
Maintaining the patient record case notes and folders on our database;
Maintaining patient follow-up and communication for continued care;
Assist in preparing team meetings.
Health Care Assistant (HCA) Part-Time - Uckfield
We are a small but busy private Integrative Medical Practice who are looking for a patient focused person who is flexible, organised and willing to work 12 hours over a 3-day week. The hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am-1pm. The rate of pay is £12ph.
You must be a person who enjoys working in a team, remains calm under pressure and is easy going. Previous experience would be desirable however not essential as further training could be given.
Duties include: -
Escorting patients through to the treatment room;
Performing basic clinical observations (blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation);
Speaking with the patients and noting any updates/symptoms to relay to the Doctor prior to treatment;
Monthly stock take;
Assisting with maintaining medical equipment and a professional clinical environment;
Filing in drug charts with batch numbers and dosages;
Keeping the dispensary and point-of care locations clean and organised;
Emptying the clinical waste;
Ensuring the dispensary is well stocked and replenished as needed, including informing reception if stock is low and requires ordering;
Maintaining all mandatory staff training.
