🕊️ Su***de Loss Awareness Day

There are certain losses that change you at your core. Losing someone to su***de is one of them.

It’s the kind of grief that hits you in places you didn’t even know existed. It’s the guilt, the what-ifs, the shock, the love, the anger, the memories… all tangled up together, showing up years later when you least expect it.

People who haven’t lived it don’t always understand how deep it goes. How it shapes the way you show up in the world. How you grow up a little too quickly.
How you learn to carry things in silence because you don’t want to burden anyone.

But if you’ve lived this kind of loss, even once, you’ll know exactly what I mean. You don’t ever “get over” it. You just find ways to keep living with it, to honour your person, to rebuild yourself piece by piece.

Today isn’t about being strong or positive.
It’s about recognising the people who carry this grief quietly, every single day. You are seen. You are not on your own. And your pain is valid, no matter how long it has been.

What the session is:
This special evening combines two deeply restorative practices. Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing, to guide you into complete relaxation and nervous system reset.

You’ll begin with gentle breathwork to help you arrive fully in the space before settling down for Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep.” Guided through a soothing meditation while lying comfortably, your body enters a state of deep rest while your mind remains gently aware. It’s a powerful practice for releasing tension, calming the mind, and allowing the body to heal naturally.

From there, you’ll be immersed in the therapeutic sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other healing instruments. The vibrations help to balance the body’s energy, quiet racing thoughts, and bring harmony to your inner state.

This session is designed to take you beyond ordinary relaxation, into a space where deep healing and renewal can occur.

No yoga experience is needed, just come as you are. You’ll be lying down for most of the session, supported by cushions and blankets to create your own little cocoon of comfort.

The dreamcatcher doesn’t just catch dreams, it filters energy. What’s meant for your soul will always find its way through, and what’s not will be carried gently away with the wind.

Today, I’m choosing to trust that flow.
After years of serving others as a social worker, I’m taking a leap, stepping fully into my purpose with Flow Yoga & Wellness Studio.

It’s terrifying and freeing all at once.
But I know deep down, what’s meant for me will never miss me.

Your love and support mean more than you know as I step into this next chapter, it’s because of you that I get to live this dream.

This style of breathwork is an active meditation that helps you shift your state. This practice moves a lot of energy through your body and can offer huge emotional release as well as deep healing. This practice can be a deeply transformational experience designed to awaken stagnant energy and release stuck emotions. It can also improve your immune system response and nervous system regulation. This practice is done lying down with an eye pillow and blanket. Loud music is played throughout to help you drop into an altered state and go on a powerful journey with your breath.

Is your skin feeling full, tired and dehydrated? Do you feel like a glow up?

On Sunday 3-4pm, we have a Face Yoga, Lymphatic Drainage and facial massage group session. Here you will learn how to work with the facial muscles and skin to brighten, tone and release tension allowing the skin to glow, feel more youthful and more toned.

We will use a Gua Sha which will be provided and organic oils.

Yoga isn’t just about flexibility, it’s one of the best ways to keep your bones strong and joints mobile as you age.

Here’s Why: Many yoga poses are weight-bearing, which helps maintain bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. The controlled movement and balance work also protect your joints, improve posture, and keep you moving with ease well into later.

You don’t need to know how to practice yoga, that’s what I’m here for (and my amazing team). We’re here to guide you safely, help you move with confidence, and remind you how good it feels to be in your body again.
