If you fancy being a collection point in your area, please do, then maybe you can drop them to us nearer the deadline or we’ll sort something out!

We had to confirm the scheme was still running and find a new pub as The Beacon has closed. Fortunately The Bakers in town will support us.

For the fourth year (!!!!) we bring you the Tubs2Pubs scheme. 😄 Every tub recycled makes a decent handful of pennies for Macmillan, and those tubs certainly add up!! See photo from near the end last year … I think we had about 750!

So if you have any empty plastic tubs for chocolates, sweets, biscuits or crackers (NO TINS), please don’t chuck them out - help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. ❤️💰❤️

The eagle-eyed amongst you may of noticed our new logo as well as a slight name change. Unfortunately the Hook side of our party kit is no longer active 😢

Along with this change I am reviewing our price list and was hoping to get some feedback from my followers 🙏🏻. Even if you have no current plans to hire a party kit I’d love to know your thoughts.

Would you prefer to have a set price package for 3-4 different sized parties

OR

A build your own package so you can select and pay for the items you will need/use?

🗣🗣🗣 We need to talk about balloon arches.
Balloon arches are JUST INFLATED LITTER. You do not need them. Your party can look beautiful, even spectacular, without hundreds of bags of air.
Anyone who tells you natural latex degrades is lying to you (well it does. But it takes years and needs very exact conditions). Also latex is banned from medical products due to the large number of anaphylactic reactions so do we really want loads and loads of it at a party?
The reality is most balloons are not pure latex anyway. Please reconsider if you are thinking of having balloon arches. They really are so wasteful, unnecessary and excessive. This world needs a lot less balloons. You can achieve a beautiful party with something else.

As we start thinking about parties again I thought I’d share this great tip from a fellow party kit business 🎉

My number 1 tip for party bags is... Love Hearts!

🍬 Vegan (and therefore dairy free)

Why is reuse important? 🤔

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - these three ‘R’s are core to living more sustainably. 🌱

Each time we buy something materials and energy are used to make it, transport it and deal with any waste.
