This week marks 6 years of V Health & Fitness! šŸŽ‰

Each year, I pause to reflect - on how far we’ve come, and where we’re going next. Taking stock helps us recognise progress and refocus our energy - in life as much as in business.

In the 6th year, the studio has grown into a truly positive, inspiring, and supportive community.

Clients and members have achieved some incredible results - not just physically, but in mindset, consistency, and confidence. These changes come from showing up, committing to the process, and engaging with the services we offer here at the studio.

Yoga has gone from strength to strength this past year, with many members calling it the highlight of their week - whether it’s the midweek Vinyasa flow or the peaceful Hatha class on Sunday mornings.

We also introduced Mat Pilates last year with two Friday classes. It’s often fully booked, and more importantly, members are feeling the benefits - from improved daily function to enhanced performance in other training.

Behind the scenes, we’ve expanded our holistic offering too. Therapists and physios now work from our treatment rooms, and looking ahead, we’re welcoming an Exercise Physiologist for specialist PT sessions, as well as Swedish massage on weekends.
Plus, the space is also used for retreats, workshops and photoshoots!

This full-circle picture of health and fitness is exactly what I envisioned - and it’s only become reality because of the community behind it.

To everyone who values what we do and continues to invest in their own health alongside us - thank you. I’m so grateful for the energy, commitment, and kindness you bring, both in and outside the studio.

As I write this looking out over the Liverpool skyline, there’s a PT session happening in the gym - another coach using our flexible hire option to build their own business. It’s a reminder of what this space is all about.

Why circuit training works…and why intensity matters.

It’s not just about going through the motions.
Circuit training challenges your body and your mind.

You build strength, improve heart health, and develop the kind of mental grit that shows up outside the gym too.

Lately, I’ve been seeing the numbers go up - heavier weights, shorter rest, higher intensity.

But the best part?

My clients are managing it better.
They’re recovering quicker, moving with more confidence, and feeling stronger each week.
That’s real progress - not just doing more, but handling more because they’re fitter.

I used to think a ā€˜bad’ weekend meant I had to start over.

Monday became damage control - full of guilt, restriction, and trying to undo it all.

But here’s the truth:
šŸ‘‰ One weekend doesn’t ruin your progress.
šŸ‘‰ What you do consistently does.

That’s why I follow the 80/20 rule.
I eat in line with my goals most of the time (around 80%), and I allow some flexibility for real life - the holidays, birthdays, unexpected meals out, or drinks with friends.

The difference?
I don’t spiral or ā€œmake up for it.ā€
I just go back to my normal routine.
No guilt. No drama. Just steady progress.

If you’ve ever thought:
ā€œI’ve blown it, might as well keep goingā€ā€¦
You’re not alone - but that mindset is what holds you back.

So ask yourself this:
