'Read Easy is a small charity who offer free, confidential, one to one coaching for anyone over the age of 18. The only proviso is that they can speak good English (though not necessarily as a first language), and that they can commit to 2 half hour coaching sessions a week. We go at the readers pace and it can take 6 months to 2 or 3 years to work through our phonics programme.'
