Have you ever wondered what might be causing your little one's sleep issues?
Are bedtimes always a battle or are they waking regularly at night?
If so, you could try a bit of trouble shooting before you start making any major changes or consider more drastic measures such as sleep training.
- Are they too hot or cold? is the room temperature ok and are they dressed appropriately?
- Could they be hungry or thirsty?
- Are they unwell, uncomfortable or teething?
- Are there any underlying medical issues that could be causing problems such as reflux, allergies or sleep apnoea?
- Do they have a calm and consistent bedtime routine?
- Are they overstimulated or exposed to blue light right before bedtime?
- Finally, are they actually tired enough to fall to sleep?
