Sometimes even usual events like sharing a coffee with a friend or loved one can be incredibly difficult when battling an eating disorder. It stops you from living a fulfilling life and connecting with those you would normally want to spend time with. As Christmas approaches, the fear of eating with others can be overwhelming and negative thoughts about body appearance leads to controlling thoughts about ‘bad foods’ calories counting or obsessive weighing.
