This week is Birth Trauma Awareness Week 💜 and it’s a reminder that every birth story matters. Birth trauma can happen for many reasons - feeling unheard, unexpected interventions, or even a perfectly ‘healthy’ birth where you just didn’t feel in control.

Hypnobirthing isn’t just about relaxation; it’s about giving you tools, confidence, and knowledge so you feel informed and in control, even when plans change.

Hypnobirthing is for all births — not just home births! 💫

Yes, that’s me — your hypnobirthing teacher — loving life on the gas & air at the hospital 😂

I gave birth to both of my boys in the Midwife-Led Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital using all the amazing tools: my TENS machine, gas & air, birth ball, and finally a beautiful water birth 💧

I’m a massive advocate for home birth (and I’d plan one for any future babies!) — but hypnobirthing isn’t about where you give birth, it’s about how you feel doing it. Empowered. Informed. Calm.

✨ Hypnobirthing is for epidurals, inductions, home births, hospital births, C-sections — all of it. You deserve to feel confident no matter your path.
