Yesterday was a busy start to the week as I was going back to networking after taking a long break, something I have set myself as a target to do more of. I attended the launch event, where I will be sponsoring the Wellness Zone this year, along with yrom Naturally Grown Health.

Getting up and ready, and out the door to get there on time was the starting point. I checked my emails before I left to ensure that I knew I was going to the right venue, and I was met with a wonderful surprise: an email stating that I had made it as a Finalist in the Woman Who Solopreneur Awards 2025. I was smiling from ear to ear, and it was a perfect way to start a Monday morning. Now for the interviews on the 16th and then the awards themselves on the 10th October 2025 at Coombe Abbey.

Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient that your body can’t make on its own, so you need to get it from your diet or from supplements. This is known as a B12 deficiency.

Vitamin B12 or B9 (commonly called folate) deficiency anaemia occurs when a lack of vitamin B12 or folate causes the body to produce abnormally large red blood cells that can't function properly.

Symptoms of B12 deficiency:

🫶extreme tiredness
🫶a lack of energy
🫶pins and needles (paraesthesia)
🫶a sore and red tongue
🫶mouth ulcers
🫶muscle weakness
🫶disturbed vision
🫶psychological problems, which may include depression and confusion
🫶problems with memory, understanding and judgement

Can be treated by an injection or tablets.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms then have a conversation with your GP and address the cause.
