Let’s Talk About HRT Dosages & Blood Tests

We know it can feel confusing (and sometimes frustrating) when you see different people talking about their HRT doses online.

It’s really important to remember: dosage doesn’t always equal hormone levels.

Two people on the same dose can have very different results in their blood work, and that’s totally normal.

That’s why at GHC, we don’t just look at the number on the prescription.

We prescribe carefully, monitor your body’s response, and adjust if
needed.

Blood tests are a key part of this, they help us understand how your body is processing hormones, so we can keep you safe while supporting your goals.

Think of it this way: the prescription is the starting point, but your blood results (and how you feel) guide the journey.

We know waiting and testing can sometimes feel slow, but it’s how we make sure treatment is safe, effective, and tailored to you.

London Tube Strike – W/C Monday 8 Sept

Dear patients, please be aware that London Underground services will be severely disrupted on the week commencing Monday, 8 September 2025 due to strike action.

No Tube services before 08:00 and very limited service throughout the week.

All Underground lines will be affected.

Other transport options (buses, Overground, Elizabeth Line, trams, cycling/walking) will still run, but are expected to be very busy.

If you have an appointment with us on this day, please allow extra travel time and plan your journey in advance.

Many of our patients have told us how much of a difference body-identical progesterone has made in their journey.

They speak about feeling calmer, more emotionally balanced, and enjoying better sleep.

Some describe richer dreams, others a sense of inner peace they hadn’t experienced before.

On the physical side, patients often notice breast development and softening of the skin, which can help them feel more aligned and comfortable in their bodies.

For some, there’s also been a welcome change in libido, sensitivity, and overall well-being, helping them feel more connected to themselves.
