This week is National Epilepsy Week and at iCare we would like to take some time to think about this condition and the people who live with it.
National Epilepsy Week is an annual UK campaign dedicated to raising awareness about epilepsy, a neurological condition affecting approximately 1 in 100 people. The week serves to educate the public, challenge misconceptions, and support those living with epilepsy and their families.
Why National Epilepsy Week Matters
Epilepsy is a common yet often misunderstood condition.
National Epilepsy Week plays a crucial role in:
Providing accurate information to dispel myths and misconceptions.
Highlighting the challenges faced by those living with epilepsy.
Promoting inclusivity and understanding within communities.
Encouraging early diagnosis and effective management of the condition.
By participating in National Epilepsy Week, individuals and organizations can contribute to a more informed and supportive society for those affected by epilepsy.

Just had to do a shout out to our internal recruiter - Catherine!! After such a short time Catherine has made a real impact on our recruitment stats, successes and her passion for getting the right people in the right roles has been shining πŸ™‚

Recruitment in the health & social care sector has always been a tough gig but even more at the moment for many reasons and she just seems to find obstacles, overcome them and moves on ... positive, passionate and pro-active !!
