Instead of thinking about what we should stop eating, or take away from our diets, how about we think on what to add to it instead?

The kids had such an amazing class yesterday at
There is really no difference with the adults these days... I can't believe the progress from when they all started. They are now using adult barbells, plates, & have been smashing lots of the core CrossFit movements & skills. 💪
It really does amaze me but they really can do it all. And the biggest breakthrough, just like with us adults are the mental ones. The I CAN DO HARD THINGS moments. The IF I PRACTICE I CAN LEARN. The if I KEEP SHOWING UP, I CAN IMPROVE moments. This happened for little D doing her rope climbs. She found them hard, but didn't give up and then had a break through!
Yesterday we saw:
⭐️ them all having a go at rope climbs 🙌
⭐️ full American kettlebell swings
⭐️ rowing / Assault bike
⭐️ burpees
These kids never fail to amaze me & inspiring, encouraging & supporting them all is Coach Cole.

Well everything that could go wrong went wrong this afternoon just as I should have been wrapping up.
But no one died, & I could see in realtime my stress levels rising thanks to my new Oura 🧐🤨
Don't care what anyone says, investing in your health or yourself is alway money well spent 💅
Slightly in love with my new gold Oura 4.

Nothing rock & roll here full hibernation mode. No training for me today. A bath. Pjs. Who even am I?!
Feels particularly sucky as the small went to her Dads today & it feels like I can feel that small hole in my heart all over again.
She is fine.
She is thriving.
Sometimes I am.
Sometimes without her, I am not!!
Not sure if it will ever get easier but I keep reminding myself we are free to do all the fun things I felt we were missing out on in life. The time I have with her we make the best memories!
Still sometimes in that moment especially on that first day of handover. It sucks.
Anyone else struggling with missing their kiddo when coparenting. You are not alone. But once you get through all the dark days, life can be wonderful, it does get better & the good days really do outweigh the occasional tough one. ♥️

A wonderful & strong lady who I massively admire once told me "you are worth a three course meal" at the time I was in the early stages of a break up and just could not be arsed to cook, eat well, or look after myself generally.
It's so easy to think you are not worth cooking for, that's it's too much hassle, when there is no one else to enjoy or share it with BUT I've learnt this approach is a slippery slope & that you are still worth putting in that little bit of time and effort to cook & eat well even during those times you are sans kiddo or solo.
The convenience foods I have picked when I feel like I'm not worth bothering about are usually:
‼️ not high enough in protein (especially when factoring in my training)
🚨 ultra processed AND
😑 more often than not they lacking in nutrients / nutritional density.
These kind of foods are easy to overeat, leave me feeling hungry & long term play havoc with my digestive system, overall mood & make me feel crappy! 💩
I'm learning to find easy, simple options that are quick to cook, taste delicious & pack a nutritional punch 🥊
🎻 Now let's don't get the violins out just yet... I don't always eat alone 😆 but today is an example I could have just grabbed some crisps and a pot noodle but decided not to.
And THIS is just a reminder of what I needed to hear at that moment or time.
You are worth it.
Your mind and body will thank you for it.
& there are STILL some speedy meal options.

Tiny house update!
So I've changed the sofa.
I found it really hard to say goodbye to the world's most comfortable 6 seater but it just didn't work in this place.
PLUS even tho I hate to be wasteful there is something about starting over that makes you want to start afresh. With things you chose. For this new chapter in life.
I am stubborn so I still refuse to replace the 55" tv and super king bed both of which I bought for a different barn that I didn't end up buying 😂
Gradually instead of a house I bought it's starting to feel like home 💙
