Our Story
Founded in 2005 by Perminder Birk, the original name of this Award Winning clinic was Another Level in Beauty. Having previously established herself as a business woman in the hotel sector as well as having finished her NVQ 3 in Beauty Therapy, Perminder had a vision of opening a salon that would bridge the gaps between a beauty salon, a dermatologist centre and a cosmetic doctor’s surgery clinic, Perminder has since received her NVQ Level 4 in Aesthetic treatments from Harley Street. It was in November 2010 that Another Level in Beauty became Another Level Medispa. This was to reflect Perminder’s vision of the salon being at the forefront of non-surgical techniques to both maintain and enhance ones appearance and most crucially, their confidence. Thus, the use of Medispa combines both the spa experience with the high end procedures that give the drastic visible results from innovative technologies, which our clients rightfully expect today. Furthermore, it was at this time that the salon relocated to the heart of Chelmsford’s Town Centre to reflect the Cosmopolitan aspect that is central to Another Level’s image. Hence, the clinic is right next to the Odeon Cinema and is located in Chelmsford’s high end shopping district amongst all the bars and restaurants, making Another Level Medispa both more accessible and convenient for our clients. At Another Level Medispa, all visitors will find treatments to meet both their needs and most crucially, their beauty and skincare ambitions. It has always been crucial to Perminder that all clients have the opportunity to fulfil their aesthetic desires in today’s image conscious society to improve their both their confidence in the workplace and their social lives. This is all without spending thousands going under the knife! So whatever your needs, we are sure to have the products and treatments you need to meet your goals. Since its inception, the business has gone from strength to strength winning awards for its services in the Essex region. Such accolades include the Essex Award for New Business (2006), as well as the Mid-Essex Awards for New Business of the Year (2006), Growing Business of the Year (2007) as well as the Runner-Up Business Woman of the Year (2007) for Perminder Birk.
