This project is focused on St Mary's (Ciara's School)
Back in 2005 Ciara McLaughlin tragically passed away in a car accident which was 3 weeks before she was supposed to volunteer in Tanzania.

Before Ciara's passing she attended a retreat where she wrote a prayer.

"I believe that everything happens for a reason even though it is so hard at times. I believe that any person can make a difference and that one day with Gods help I can make a difference in the lives of people around me".

Lucia & her group are going out to continue Ciara's legacy by helping others and building more schools for the young people that live there.

A Home From Home

Clairville opened it’s doors to its first resident in 1989. Many of the loyal staff who started back then continue to work here today. We call it ‘The Home’ because it has served as a ‘home from home’ for many residents over the years. We are a relatively small home of 17 residents. This intimacy allows our carers to get to know each individual in a personal and giving way. We pride ourselves in the loyalty of our long serving staff, our sense of compassion, empathy and our goals to meet the physical, social and emotional well being of our residents.

We are a family and this is our Home.
