Prehen Lifestyle Centre Bringing people together to commit to laughter, fun and a better themselves through wellness and fitness programs. Including Bright light therapy, fitness.

We are a volunteer community organisation which offers programs that promote the holistic development of people in Derry/Londonderry and surrounding areas. We cater for all ages. Our facilities are family and child friendly. We accommodate all fitness levels. Our Lightroom is fitted with specialist bright light devices (standing lamps) which effectively compensate for the lack of natural daylight.

Many people notice an immediate response to light therapy. The following benefits can be experienced in a few weeks with regular use: relief from SAD – Seasonal Affective Disorder and depression that don't occur seasonally; improved concentration; reduced fatigue, jet lag, sleep disorders, adjusting to a nighttime work schedule, lower anxiety, mitigating the effects of dementia, boost motivation and energy for training, and stimulate wakefulness at key times to improve performance

We also offer fitness classes and health assessments:
Monday Evenings - Fitness 101: Education & activity session: gentle exercise and instruction about how your body works and how to fuel it. Tuesday Evenings -Active Games: Participate in various games to get active whilst having fun. Wednesday Evening we offer two sessions of Circuit City: Our most popular program based on a variety of explosive circuits for strength gain & weight loss. 30 minutes high intensity workouts

Thursday - Walk 15 - starting mid May 2017

We plan to offer more fitness classes, vegetarian cooking classes, health seminars and money management.

Hello, my favorite flock of fitness Peeps! 🐥

Thanks for kicking off this chilly, snowy day with me—it’s always better when we freeze together, right? ❄️ I hope your day is full of sunshine vibes, even if the weather outside looks like a snow globe someone shook a little too hard. ☀️

This evening, at 7:15PM the doors 🚪 will be wide open for anyone who wants to join me for a cozy chat, a stretch, or some good ol’ exercise to warm up. Don’t worry, I’ve cleared a safe path to the door—so no need to channel your inner Olympic ice skater.
