This week is week.

Alcohol addiction is the most common form of addiction in the UK, yet for too many, it remains hidden behind shame, stigma, and silence.

This Alcohol Awareness Week, led by Alcohol Change UK , shines a spotlight on alcohol and the workplace, a setting where drinking culture, stress, and fear of judgment often prevent people from seeking help.

At Taking Action on Addiction, we’re calling for a culture shift. Alcohol harm is rising, lives are being lost, and the cost of inaction is too high. Addiction is not a choice, it’s a serious mental health condition. And recovery is possible.

Read our latest article to find out why now is the time to speak out, show compassion, and take meaningful action.

If you're going out in the hot weather, stay out of the direct sun and apply sun cream. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and know where to go for help.

Last year you helped the NHS prevent 65,000 medicines items from being wasted by 'Only Ordering What You Need'.

With our patients help we would like to help the NHS to do the same again this year.

The campaign encourages people who have repeat prescriptions to check what medicines they have at home before they order, to reduce the amount that is being wasted.

For more information please follow the link:
