Sorry for the lack of appointments available recently, I’ve been away feeding my parkrun habit 😀 (and having a little holiday) It started in Helsinki with Tokoinranta parkrun, a really nice out and back route around a lake, I jogged around with a local Finn who only started parkrun in May but he told me it was love the very first time 💕 After a fascinating cycle tour of the Baltics which fortuitously ended in Vilnius in Lithuania, I just had to visit Vingis parkrun, the only parkrun in the whole of Lithuania (and there are absolutely none in Estonia or Latvia 😱) It was their first birthday so had lots of tourists, one British lady had completed a parkrun in every European country and a group of Aussies had run a parkrun in every participating country! (And I thought I was obsessed 🙈) Munich was next which accidentally coincided with Oktoberfest 😬, Westpark parkrun was another lovely location around a lake with lots of Brits celebrating Germany Unity Day. Lastly but the most spectacular was in Salzburg on my 11th parkrun birthday! Hellbrunn parkrun was around the grounds of Hellbrunn palace with a stunning mountainous backdrop. We met some local guys from Towcester, Wantage, Thame and High Wycombe, some we had already met in Munich, some we hadn’t, the parkrun world is so small but mighty 🙂🌎🇫🇮🇱🇹🇩🇪🇦🇹
