Hi there!!

My names Amy and as some of you may know I received spinal fusion surgery for Scoliosis and with received the best care and support through Megan’s Wish.

Currently I’m studying a Masters in Health Promotion and Public Health at Ulster University and as part fulfilment of my course, I am completing a research study into the Quality of life of individuals with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis after receiving Spinal Fusion surgery.

Our lovely Roisin, one of the founder members of the All Ireland Scoliosis Network (AISN) will be speaking this Saturday at the Rigo Invites webinar. She’s speaking about red flags: serious spinal pathology update, alongside some fantastic Rigo Concepts teachers. This will be a great opportunity to increase your scoliosis knowledge. It would be so easy to slip into despair when we look around at the minute. What is wrong with people? The vandalism to Larne Leisure Centre will hugely affect our family and so many more in the local community. Will humanity never progress? Are we forever stuck in these hate cycles? But we have to believe in the goodness out there, that these acts of violence, while hugely destructive, are the acts of the few. Let’s keep showing up for kindness and tolerance and try not to get pulled down by their mindsets. Let’s fix our eyes on higher and better things. Some little things to take your mind off the world right not and find some peace xo

🚧 Traffic Notice: Royal Landings – Saturday 14th June

As part of preparations for the Royal Landings event, please be aware of significant traffic disruption in the area on Saturday 14th June to ensure the safety of both participants and spectators.

🔁 Traffic Diversions will be in place from 11:00am.

🚫 Road Closures (11:30am – 6:00pm) will affect the following areas:
• Belfast Road
• Marine Highway

*During parade*
• Woodburn Road
• North Road (below the bridge)
• All Town Centre Roads

We strongly advise planning your journey in advance, using alternative routes where possible, and allowing extra travel time on the day.

Hey hey my Wednesday night peeps!! Just to keep you updated, no change to your classes for the next few weeks but moving forward we’re heartbroken our lovely Erin can no longer cover classes 😭 she’s gutted, we’re gutted and I know you’ll all be gutted too! However! Olivia and I will cover until something comes up, I know, big shoes to fill and we’ll really miss Erin but we gotta roll with the punches! More info to follow!
