👉 If you have an appointment with us on 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 or 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, please allow extra time to get here. We’ll always do our absolute best to see you, but due to traffic and delays, this cannot be guaranteed.

If possible, consider walking or setting off earlier to help avoid any disruption.

‼️ ATTENTION PARENTS, TEACHERS & CARERS‼️

Now that the 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 are in full swing and everyone’s out exploring, playing, and adventuring, it’s important to be prepared for unexpected mishaps, like a child knocking out a 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡.

This can be 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐲, even for the calmest adult, but 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 can make a big difference to your child’s long-term dental outcome.

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬:

1. 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐃 the tooth – Look carefully, time is critical.

2. 𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 scrub the tooth or remove any tissue attached to it.

3. 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐞 dirt off using 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 — or even better, 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐚 (the child's or your own if you’re the parent).

4. 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 , gently push the tooth 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭. Make sure it’s the right way around, don't stress about the exact angle.

5. 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐘. Tell them it’s an emergency.

6. If you can’t reinsert the tooth, store it in:

𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐚 (in the cheek if safe)

𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤

𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫

❗️𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 let the tooth dry out or wrap it in tissue.

🦷⏱𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 — 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡!

🚗 Traffic Alert! 🚗

Just a quick heads up traffic around the practice is notoriously bad on a Friday, but with schools breaking up and many people heading off on holidays, it could be even worse over the next couple of weeks.

If you’ve got an appointment coming up, please allow some extra travel time to make sure you arrive on time. We really appreciate your patience!

🌿APPRECIATION POST. A big thank you to The Pot Place at Plumpton for their outstanding customer service! 💚

A member of our team recently visited and were so impressed, not only is the food in the cafe absolutely delicious, but the team went above and beyond when they mentioned a gift voucher they received had expired. Instead of turning them away, they were kind, reassuring, and told us not to worry, it could still be used. 🙌

We are excited to announce that we are nearly there with our new website. (It's been a long time coming!)

Behind every smooth-running practice is someone who keeps all the wheels turning, and for us, that person is Eleanor, our incredible Practice Manager.

You may not see her at the front desk every day, but Eleanor is the quiet powerhouse behind the scenes. From organising schedules and handling admin, to making sure our team and patients are fully supported, she does it all with tireless dedication, grace, and a whole lot of heart.

Her hard work might not always be visible, but we want her to know, and for everyone else to know, that everything she does is truly appreciated. Our practice wouldn’t be the same without her.
