"I've just completed L’Étape du Tour—one of France’s most iconic amateur cycling events where riders tackle the same mountainous stage of the Tour de France as the pros, just days before them. This year's route was especially brutal: 5 Alpine ascents spread over 130 km, totaling 4,500 meters of elevation.
As a cyclist who only started two years ago at age 39, this challenge demanded months of focused training. For the past six months, I committed myself to countless hours in the saddle every week—but one critical part of my preparation happened off the bike: my weekly Pilates sessions with Lucia over Zoom.
Lucia has a gift. She's deeply attuned to her clients’ individual needs. Her workouts are never repetitive—every session introduces fresh exercises tailored to how your body’s feeling that day. And if I ever showed up stiff or sore from a tough ride, I just had to Lucia through the screen she would guide me through a sequence that relieved the pain completely.
Combining Pilates with cycling gave me the balance and body awareness I needed—not just power in the legs, but strength and recovery across my whole system. I can’t recommend it enough and not just for cycling but any other sport. Especially if it’s with someone like Lucia".
