Our aim is to provide fast access to expert health care professionals to enable patients to start their recovery without delay. In 2013 Sportsmed East moved into its new premises on Woodbridge Road in Ipswich. With 5 clinic rooms, off road parking and a custom built exercise area Sportsmed East is now able to offer unrivalled facilities in the Ipswich area.

Dan Berry is joining the team in clinic providing sports massage.

He will be available for 30, 45, and 60-minute sports massages every Tuesday evening and Saturday morning.

Until the end of September, Dan will be offering a discount on 2x 1 hour massages when booked and paid for in advance.

At the end of April, we held our final workshop of this school year for years 10 - 13.

Alongside the therapists discussing their careers & university pathways, they also ran the students through some of their treating methods and management's.

Our next workshop will be in September. If this is something you are interested in, please discuss with your schools/college careers advisors who can organise attendance.

Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon Mr David Cu***ng popped into Sportsmed East recently to provide the clinicians with a Spinal CPD, discussing various spinal pathologies, their subsequent management and the spinal referrals pathway.

Our client is four days post spiral fracture of his left metacarpal.

We have been treating conservatively daily with ice, laser and shortwave therapy to promote healing.

Today Amy provided hand therapy and fabricated a personalised splint to support the fracture sites during healing.
