Despite its name, the morning after pill is emergency contraception that can be effective if taken up to 3-5 days after having unprotected s*x.

With contraception, the smart move is planning ahead. This means researching your options, or speaking to a trusted health service, and finding contraception that works for you and your partner.

Plan your play, stay informed and take control of your choices. 🍑🍆🌮

It’s Week and we’re proud to highlight how we’re helping build a sustainable community sector for the future through accessible, local care.

Locala’s Clinic in a Van brings health and wellbeing services directly into communities – breaking down barriers and meeting people where they are.

Our mobile clinic supports:
• Outreach tailored to local needs
• Care in familiar, accessible settings
• Stronger community partnerships
• Support for wider health needs
• More people to thrive, closer to home

Used by teams including Sexual Health, Tissue Viability, Immunisations, The Whitehouse Centre and Engagement, the van is fully equipped to deliver safe, high-quality care wherever it’s needed.

A great example of our Thrive Strategy in action - building connections and improving access across Kirklees, Bradford, Calderdale and Greater Manchester.

👀 Look out for the van in your area and come say hello!
