There are many different forms of progress.

And sometimes it’s not always obvious or even tangible.

Measures of progress may look like a drop in clothes size or an increase in clothes size.

They can be a drop in measurements or an increase in measurements.

They may be hitting a PB at the gym, or on your 5k run.

But they may also be measured by a FEELING.

FEELING more confident.
FEELING healthy.
FEELING strong.
FEELING proud of yourself.

Because let’s face it, what truly matters is how you FEEL, regardless of the outcome.

So long as you feel your best, this is what counts.

And it’s exactly what I help women like Tasha with.

I help them to break out of that body jail for life, no self judgment, no negative thoughts and certainly no limits.

Because we are all born with the right to feel amazing. It’s just a question of unlocking that self belief.

If you’re ready to unlock yours, DM me “TASH” and let’s find the key to get you FEELING your best today

Do you know the number one thing that stops people making progress in the gym? 👀

It’s not lack of motivation… it’s gym anxiety.

Gym anxiety is real and for some people it’s so overwhelming they avoid workouts altogether because they’re scared of being judged.

But here’s the good news… you can overcome it.
✅ Train with a buddy
✅ Join a class
✅ Go at quieter times
✅ Or get the support of a coach who can build your confidence and give you a plan.

And if you’re already confident in the gym don’t forget, a smile or a kind word can make all the difference to someone who’s struggling. Let’s make gyms welcoming for everyone 💜

If this resonates with you and you’d like support, hit the link in my bio and let’s chat about how I can help.

MACHINE OF THE WEEK 😍💜💪🏻

Meet Sam, a hard working, super mum of 2 who is definitely one to watch 👀

Sam is ALWAYS smiling even through some of the most brutal workouts, she gives everything her best and in the 3 months we’ve been working together we’ve made some exciting progress already 🤩

⬆️ Strength is up
⬆️ Fitness is improving
⬆️ Confidence is definitely increasing

She’s even braved the odd solo session in the weights area 🙌🏻

Sam initially came to me to improve her overall health, strength and fitness but what she’s gained in our short time working together is so much more.

She’s tackled new skills she never dreamed of even attempting, proving to herself just what she is truly capable of.

As adults we often lose the magic that comes with learning something new and getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Sam has grabbed being uncomfortable with both hands and I’m excited to watch where this journey takes her.

Thanks for allowing me to be apart of that Sam 💜

This trip will leave a mark in our hearts forever ❤️🇨🇦

Too many moments and memories to share,

Meeting new faces for the first time and embracing the ones we have missed so hard.

How we laughed, sang, danced and cried.

A sign of a forever kind of friendship when you are able to just pick up exactly where you left off 🥰

We may be 4550m apart but that doesn’t stop us from being closer than ever.

Vancouver thank you for being everything we could have imagined and more, filling our hearts with so much love,

And giving us so much magic in such a short space of time ✨

Until the next reunion 🥰

Stop shrinking yourself to fit places you’ve outgrown.

Remember that when embarking on your health and fitness journey, it is never a “one size fits all” approach. What has worked for someone else in the past may or may not work for you in the future.

You have to be willing to adapt and change your methods to achieve your goals. Just make sure that when doing so, you do it for you and you alone 💜

Some of the most common things I hear as a coach…

❌ “I’m just not losing weight.”
❌ “I’ve only lost a couple of pounds.”
❌ “I’ve trained so hard but the scales have gone UP.”

Sound familiar? You’re not alone.

The obsession with weight loss often leaves people feeling disheartened, falling off track, or punishing themselves with restriction. And it creates an unhealthy relationship with the scales, their body, and themselves.

I know because that used to be me 👈🏻

In the picture on the left, I was a size 8, weighed 9 stone, and thought being smaller would make me happy. But the truth? I was miserable, obsessed with the scales, and constantly picking myself apart.

Fast forward to the picture on the right ➡️
I’m now around 10.5 stone, usually a size 10… and happier than ever.

Yes, I weigh more. Yes, I’m a bigger dress size. But here’s the difference:
✨ I’m strong
✨ I’m fit
✨ I’m healthy

Your weight isn’t just fat. It’s muscle, bone density, water retention and so much more. Most fluctuations have nothing to do with fat loss at all – so why let it define your progress?

Next time you feel frustrated about “only” losing a pound or seeing the scales go up, remember this: the benefits of training and eating well go far beyond a number.

If you want to find true body confidence (without letting the scales control you), drop me a DM with CONFIDENCE 💌

Gym anxiety happens to ALL of us — yes, even coaches like me 😅
And it usually comes down to one of these 6 fears:

1️⃣ Being judged — truth is, everyone’s too busy worrying about themselves to notice you.
2️⃣ Using equipment wrong — ask a trainer, that’s literally what we’re here for.
3️⃣ Doing exercises wrong — better to ask than risk injury, always.
4️⃣ Not knowing what to do — get a plan, get guidance, and you’ll feel so much more confident.
5️⃣ People waiting for your machine — just smile, tell them how many sets you’ve got, and even offer to let them jump in.
6️⃣ Going it alone — find a buddy or make one at the gym, it makes a HUGE difference.

Remember: you’re not alone, and every single person has felt this way. Confidence comes with action 💪

If you want more support to overcome gym anxiety and finally feel confident walking into any gym — hit the link in my bio and let’s get started.

MACHINE OF THE WEEK 🤩❤️💪🏻

Some people just walk into your life and you just instantly click with them 🥰

So I was gutted when she told me she was moving to Devon and we had to stop our face to face sessions together 🥺

BUT that didn’t mean we stopped working together 💪🏻 and since Caroline has moved to online coaching I think she’ll agree she’s really taken her training to the next level AND we probably get to speak near enough everyday as opposed to that one hour a week 💜

This week Caroline takes the spotlight for her amazing attitude and progress in her training sessions!

There is no doubt about it, Caroline is a Grafter!

She juggles a full time job as a nurse and shift work but still makes time to hit her workouts and stay focused on her goals 🔪

Strength is up ⬆️
Cardio she is starting to love (🤪)

And it’s only the beginning!!
Let’s see where the next few months takes us 😍

Great things happen when ...we support each other 💜👊🏻

There’s enough negativity in this world without the contribution of our own negative thoughts and actions.

A negative mind will never give you a positive life.

Hormones pretty much dictate everything.

In fact the word hormone is Latin for “set in motion”.

And whilst in some circumstances (menopause, PCOS, Endometriosis) an imbalance in hormones can’t be avoided, in most cases the imbalanced hormones aren’t actually the root of the cause.

It’s a symptom of the root cause, just like with skin issues, gut issues, etc, the imbalances you face could actually be attributed to:

Poor nutrition (too many takeaways, not enough nutrient dense foods, Inadequate protein…)
Poor sleep
Not enough exercise
Too much exercise
Too much alcohol/caffeine
High levels of stress

Sadly no wonder supplement out there is going to fix any of this for you and a HUGE factor in all of this are the habits you do the majority of the time.

And you’re not taking care of the basics 90% of the time for a minimum of 90 days, then the best place to start is here…

Nutrition
Sleep
Hydration
The right amount of exercise (daily movement AS WELL AS regular exercise)
Stress management

This would be my first point of call for the majority of my female clients.

The hormones & the body are a complex machine. And there will be times where intervention is needed.

But if you are only doing the basics 50% of the time, don’t expect your hormones to be in check 100% of the time.
