This morning the sky stopped me in my tracks. A perfect mackerel sky stretched above, every cloud patterned like ripples on water.

How often do we forget to look up? To pause long enough to notice the quiet beauty that’s always there.

Moments like this remind me that mindfulness isn’t only found in meditation or stillness. It’s here in the tilt of your head, the deep breath you take and the way your shoulders drop when you let yourself simply see.

Look up today. Let the sky meet you where you are.

Big news…
This September, I’m stepping into something that’s been quietly calling me for a while - I’ll be training to become a mindfulness teacher. 🌿

The books are piling up, the stationery addiction is in full force, my heart feels both excited and gently stretched. This journey isn’t just about adding another string to my bow - it’s about deepening the way I live, work and guide others.

I’ve experienced how powerful mindfulness can be in helping us slow down, soften the noise and come home to ourselves. I can’t wait to share more of this magic with you as I learn.

So here’s to new beginnings, curious minds and anchoring into presence.

Wish me luck 🌀📚

Two days of pure empowerment at - connection, clarity and courage in every conversation ✨
My cup? Overflowing. My mind? Buzzing. My heart? Wide open.

Then… the train delays hit 😅
Bubble = mildly burst.

But here’s the thing - the energy I’ve soaked up can’t be cancelled or postponed. Not even by signal failures, hot rails and soggy sandwiches.

I’m taking the magic with me.
The ideas, the inspiration, the reminders of what’s really possible when we stop playing small.

Next stop: integration with a cold glass of wine waiting for me when I finally get home 💫

✨ SILENT, BUT POWERFUL ✨
For the next two days I'm attending - an event aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and small business folk with their visibility - helping them grow.

Today, I've been to my first ever silent seminar – like a silent disco, but instead of dancing, we were all tuned in to an inspiring talk through our headphones.
No noise. No distractions. Just me, my thoughts… and the truth hitting home.

We learnt about self-doubt, about facing our fears and being bold!

We learnt not to try to silence the fear.
We learnt to strap it in in the passenger seat. We can't get rid of it, we need to bring it with us.

Because courage isn’t the absence of fear – it’s deciding to carry on with it.

Honestly? It stirred something in me.
A reminder that I don’t have to wait to feel brave. I just have to begin – wobbly knees, racing heart and all.

What did you get up to last weekend? This is what I did 🥰

I REALLY DID MEAN TO TAKE SOME PICTURES…

We had the perfect mix of brilliant sunshine and raging storms.

We danced until dusk, then each set power-full intentions, made prayers and supported one another as we each submerged in an 8ft cold water pool as Grandmother Moon rose, high above us, in the clear, night skies.

We talked, cried, laughed and celebrated.

We connected with the nature spirits and worked with the plants.

We allowed our animal guides to move through our bodies.

We hugged one another. We healed together. We sang. We meditated. We ate beautiful food. We exchanged gifts. We drummed. We released. We rejoiced.

And then, on Sunday evening, we all bid our farewells, thanked the energies of Water and The South, and went our separate ways. Shining. Changed. Full of hope. Full of light. Full of inspiration.

In October, we’ll meet again for our North weekend, where we’ll work with the energies of clarity and air.

And then, in January, Asha and I will welcome a new tribe for the next turn of The Big One; some will stay, some will move on, new people will join. It will be perfect. It always is.

I really meant to take some pictures but, for now, here are some shots from our first weekend together, in October 2024, captured by the wonderful Vicki Head.

Want to join us for the new term next year? Drop me a line - if it’s calling you, it might just be the right time.

Working towards being strong, not stacked. Still got my muffin top - but I’m lifting for my future self.

Perimenopause isn’t the easiest season, but strength training is helping me feel more solid - inside and out.

I’m not aiming for a six-pack, that's never going to happen - I love chocolate too much! I’m aiming for:
💪 Muscles that support my joints
🦴 Bones that stay strong
🧠 A clearer mind
💖 A more loving relationship with my body

It’s also not about looking a certain way. It’s about showing up now so future me can dance, travel, garden and carry the shopping with ease.

My mum is in her 80s and has sadly experienced several falls and bone breaks recently so I'm working out to hopefully protect my bones in the future.

What are you doing to support your future self?

Take care,
Claire

Sending love to you all for the Summer Solstice ☀️

Today, the sun pauses - hanging high in the sky, golden and generous, casting long light across the land and into our lives.

As the light peaks, so too does the invitation:
To pause. To breathe. To notice the abundance within and around you.
To give thanks for how far you've come, and listen deeply for what still calls.

Let the sun remind you:
You are allowed to shine.
You are allowed to rest in the light of your own becoming.
And just like the seasons, you are always evolving - and that is more than enough.

And so the wheel turns....

Take care,
Claire

🌿 Welcome to my wild, scruffy garden – a patch of nature that doesn't worry about neat edges or perfect symmetry. It's messy, a bit chaotic, and yet… it’s beautiful.

Just like life.

We often feel the pressure to keep everything tidy – our thoughts, our feelings, our days. But real life is rarely polished. It’s a blend of joy, struggle, laughter, and tears. It’s blooming flowers alongside stubborn weeds.

But look closer, and you’ll see beauty in the wildness. Growth in the tangled branches. Strength in the storms.

So here’s your reminder: you don’t need to have everything perfectly in place to be enough. There’s magic in the mess, wisdom in the wild, and beauty in the journey.

Take a breath. Embrace the wild. Find the beauty in your own scruffy garden today. 🌱

You ever sit down to do something important…
And suddenly you really need to clean out your inbox?
Or alphabetise your spice rack? Or clean your make up brushes?

Yep. Been there.

Here’s the thing: procrastination isn’t laziness - it’s stress.

When we feel overwhelmed, our brain hits the brakes. It’s a kind of freeze response. The task feels huge, scary, or just too much and so we scroll, snack, or do literally anything else.

But that just ramps up the stress, which makes us freeze more. And round we go.

Here’s what helps me (and the people I work with):

Be kind to yourself - harshness fuels the cycle

Break it down - what’s the first tiny step?

Move your body - a walk, a stretch, a few deep breaths

Say it out loud - “I feel stuck” is a great place to start

5-minute rule - just begin. Often, that’s enough.

You’re not lazy. You’re a human with a full heart and a busy brain.
Go gently,
Take care, Claire
