Our residents have endured a range of activities the past few days, but what they enjoyed most was being together😁

🌺What an incredible day at our Summer Garden Gala!🌺

The sun came out, the music played and smiles were everywhere. Everyone had an absolute blast and we couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out!☀️🎤🍉

🎙️ Milly, Client Liaison Manager, and our two students, Annie & Millie went live on City Hospital Radio across Peterborough City Hospital NHS 🎙️

It was a fantastic opportunity to share their experience, education & support they have received at Waterhouse Manor that has developed and broadened their knowledge of care and Healthcare careers🌟👏🎧

Millie has now progressed to a Receptionist with us and has settled in amazingly as part of the front house team📞📝
We look forward to seeing Annie’s next steps as she blooms in the sector!👩🏼‍⚕️💫

Its been busy at Waterhouse today!

This morning we had a sing and dance session with the lovely Leslie Anne & Katie Rose 🎤 🪩 they got us up on our feet, energy flowing and the entire home filled with positivity 🤩✨

In aid of our Avery Around The World being France this month, our Head Chef Anthony gave some of our residents a Choux pastry demonstration in the afternoon🇫🇷
We learnt how to make the perfect Choux pastry, asked some questions on the history of it and even sampled the finished product (super delish 🤤).

Today we took a morning stroll to the local lake for a breath of fresh air 🧘‍♂️ 🚶‍♀️
On our travels we collected some fresh flowers to display in the home, picked mother natures finest berries and met some fluffy little pals! 🐕 🐶 🍇

This afternoon we celebrated a very special birthday, for our lovely resident Dawn, in style! Gabriella Pineda-Rodrigues worked her musical magic and wowed our residents as always! 🎤 💓

It’s been such a lovely day, we were happy the sun stayed out to play ☀️

Waterhouse go to Hunstanton! ☀️ 🏖️

Our first trip to sunny Hunny (minus the sun😝) was successful!

We enjoyed a stroll along the promenade, ate our body weight in chips, spent some pennies in the arcade and enjoyed some lovely tea together☺️

A busy foodie week here at Waterhouse Manor! 🧁

Our residents have gone baking mad 👩‍🍳 we celebrated National Blueberry Muffin Day on Friday with a muffin baking session with our Kitchen Assistant Max 😁

Over the weekend we have been focused on our Wimbledon finals 🎾 so we sat back and relaxed with a classic Pimms & Lemonade, Strawberries & Cream, Cucumber sandwiches and Carrot cake 🥕 🍹

We took the opportunity to enjoy our delicious treats out in the sunshine too (because why wouldn’t you😋!)

We finished the day off today with muffin decorating, topped with maltesers and jelly babies ☺️

We are hosting an event for the people of Peterborough!

WEDNESDAY 9TH JULY | 10AM - 12PM

Our Community Support Officers will be at Waterhouse Manor to listen to your concerns, provide crime prevention information and how they can support you🚔

We will be giving a warm welcome to the public with refreshments and light bites while you meet the Police Officers☕️🥐
