🎉 We may not have taken home a trophy, but we are feeling like winners today! 🎉

A huge well done to our amazing Haymill Respite Team and Life Enabler Carlie Baker, who were finalists in this year’s Third Sector Awards – one of the most prestigious events in the charity sector.

With over 300 charities across the UK entering, and judges saying it was “one of the toughest years yet”, being shortlisted is an incredible achievement and a true reflection of the dedication, passion and support our teams show every single day.

The team and Carlie walked away with a finalist certificate - proudly shown here by our colleagues Beneta and Coleen.

At Certitude, we are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support, empowering people to live the lives they choose. Recognition like this reminds us why we do what we do, and just how exceptional our colleagues are.

Celebrating Professional Care Workers Week!

We are proud to stand with The Care Workers’ Charity (tag) to celebrate the compassion and dedication of care workers across the UK.

Every day, Certitude colleagues support over 1,000 Londoners with learning disabilities, autistic people, and those with mental health needs to live the lives they choose, in the places they call home, doing the things that matter most to them.
We know that high-quality, person-centred support starts with people who care. That’s why we are celebrating our amazing colleagues this week, and every week!

Visit The Care Workers’ Charity to explore events, stories and find out how you can support the campaign.

We were pleased to welcome Alison Bennett MP - Liberal Democrat spokesperson for Care and Carers, and MP for Mid Sussex - to Certitude last week.

Alison is a passionate advocate for inclusive, person-centred social care, and during her visit spent time with the people we support, our incredible colleagues, and our Chief Executive Aisling Duffy.

She saw firsthand how our approach empowers people with learning disabilities, autistic people, and those with mental heath needs to live fulfilling, independent lives, connected to their communities and in control of their choices.

Reflecting on her visit, Alison shared:

“Certitude does incredible not-for-profit work, and meeting those supported was truly inspiring. The warmth and mutual respect between them and their support workers was evident, and it’s that kind of connection that enables people to live happy, fulfilling lives.”

We are grateful for Alison’s continued commitment to shaping future where everyone is included, heard, and supported.
