Today we teamed up with Simon and the North West Ambulance Service team to attend Appleby Primary School summer fair. Along with Fire, Police and Mountain Rescue; we showed the children around the appliances and talked through all things emergency services. 🚑💚

Congratulations go to one of our Community Resuscitation Officers (CREO), Megan Stephenson, after she picked a Pride of Cumbria award.

She was nominated by several of her colleagues for her work in delivering basic life-saving training to thousands of people across the county, installing dozens of brand-new community defibrillators in previously underserved locations, and supporting fundraising efforts to purchase them, as well as reinstating hundreds of community defibrillators that had fallen out of use.

Megan's position and two other CREOs were funded with the help of the North West Ambulance Charity 🙌
