The Didsbury Parsonage CHRISTMAS TOY APPEAL for The Wood Street Mission.

We are collecting new toys, ages 0-14 years old, which can be dropped at The Didsbury Parsonage, MONDAY-SUNDAY 10am-4.30pm.

The last date to drop off your gifts for disadvantaged children is the 5th December 2023.

The Didsbury Parsonage Trustees would like to introduce to you, our new DIDSBURY PARSONAGE MANAGER, Denise Oldfield.

Denise started with us on the 29th August and she has been settling into her role really well.

The following is a message from Denise.

Hello Everybody,

My name is Denise and I feel deeply privileged to have been appointed the role of Manager of Didsbury Parsonage, this beautiful Grade II listed building.

In my short time here, I've already felt the incredible passion from both the staff, the public and its amazingly dedicated volunteers.

During my first week as Manager, we hosted a BBC film crew and welcomed Joe Brown's fashion brand on the premises for a photoshoot. There is undoubtedly a constant and exhilarating energy here, but it's also a place that offers tranquillity and peace in equal measure.

Ultimately, the trustees and I want to invite everyone to experience the charm of Didsbury Parsonage, whether it's joining a class or booking this unique venue for a special occasion or using the galleries for music/poetry recitals. We also want to continue the legacy left by Steve Parle and honour his memory as we move forward.

If you're already acquainted with Didsbury Parsonage, you will already know that it's a hidden gem in every sense of the word, for those, not so familiar, please come and visit whenever you can!

As the Didsbury Parsonage Manager, you will undertake a varied and rewarding role which will ensure the ongoing, successful running of a beloved South Manchester institution. You’ll act as the main person responsible for the day-to-day activities at the Parsonage, including managing room bookings and art exhibitions, maintaining good relationships with our office tenants, and managing the small, dedicated team of staff.
