*disclaimer the doll is used for drilling grappling... and sam was prepping his lesson plans next to us training...

Threw these into the session with Harrops yesterday…

You can scale them easily and use bands for regression — if you’ve never tried them, start by holding a band (trust me on this).

They’re great as quad openers helping you stretch and get active from that lengthened position.

If you’re planning to load these heavy without a band don’t fry your legs beforehand. These are seriously demanding, and your knees won’t thank you for it.
Yesterday’s session looked like this:

• DB step-ups

• Hip extension

• Harrop curl - reverse Nordic
THEN
• Quad extension- Lying hamstring curl

So programming-wise, it was very posterior-chain focused first. We hit these earlier, then used quad extensions at the end to pump things out not the other way around.

Anyway… do what you want, it’s bank holiday weekend 😅

Also, a compliment from always does wonders for the self-esteem.

Wasnt able to video the functional fitness room as PTs were going on in there.... so theres another 30% floor space not in the video.
