I’ve spent years talking to myself horribly about my body…
Saying things like “I’m a fat bastard,”
or “I’m unattractive,”
or “Why can’t I just sort myself out?”
And honestly… none of that ever helped me.
It just made me feel worse and kept me stuck.
So I’m switching it up.
Not with cheesy positivity —
but with truth.
The truth is…
I’m working on myself.
I’m trying.
I’m showing up.
I’m doing more for my health now than I ever have.
And that counts.
So instead of saying:
❌ “I’m disgusting.”
I’m replacing it with:
✅ “I’m improving, and my body deserves better words.”
Instead of:
❌ “I’m a fat bastard.”
I’m switching to:
✅ “I’m getting stronger and building habits that actually serve me.”
Instead of:
❌ “I’m unattractive.”
I’m reframing to:
✅ “Confidence grows from how I treat myself — and I’m learning to treat myself with respect.”
This isn’t about pretending everything is perfect.
It’s about refusing to bully myself anymore.
One thought at a time…
I’m changing the way I speak to myself —
because I finally realise my body hears every word.
And it deserves better.
