☕🍰 Yesterday we held our Macmillan Coffee Morning here at Eagle View, and what a wonderful day it was!

Residents, staff, and visitors all came together to enjoy plenty of tea, coffee, and a delicious selection of cakes and bakes. Most importantly, we raised money and awareness for a cause that touches so many lives. 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, baked, donated, or simply enjoyed a cuppa in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Every little bit truly makes a difference.

Today’s recipe was rice crispy cakes – fun, fun, fun! 🎉😋

Residents had a great time mixing, shaping, and of course doing a little taste-testing along the way. 🍫✨

🎨🟢🔵 New game alert! 🔴🟡

Today we tried out our new colour match challenge – lining up the fuzzy coloured balls with their photocopied matches.

There were some very serious and concentrating faces around the table… everyone wanted to get it just right! Lovely to see the residents so focused and enjoying the fun. 💭✨

This October, Alison will be taking on a challenge close to our hearts – walking 75 miles with her dog to raise funds for Dementia UK. 💙🐾

Every step is in support of the incredible work they do, offering specialist dementia nurses to families who need them most. Just £8 could cover the cost of two families reaching out to their free Dementia Helpline – so every donation, big or small, truly makes a difference.

We spent a lovely day at the beach chalets yesterday, soaking up the sea air and enjoying the calm of the seaside.

The sound of the waves, the sunshine, and a change of scenery did us all the world of good.

Days like these remind us how important it is to get out, connect with nature and enjoy the simple pleasures in life 🌊☀️🏖️

Good for the body, great for the mind, and even better for the soul.

🎉🏅 Eagle View Care Home – Olympic News! 🏅🎉

We are so proud to share that Team Eagle View came 9th in the North Yorkshire & York Care Provider Olympics 2025! 💙

Our residents and staff gave it their all with amazing team spirit, plenty of laughs, and lots of determination. What a brilliant day it was celebrating fun, friendship and a touch of healthy competition.

👏 A huge thank you to everyone who supported and cheered us on – this achievement belongs to all of us.

🎳🤣 Yesterday was a day of pure silliness at Eagle View! From inflatable bowling strikes to the hilarious “Granny Pants” game, our residents had an absolute blast. 🧡

Laughter really is the best medicine, and there was plenty of it going around! 😄✨

🔴🟡 Today we went BIG… literally! Awesome games of GIANT Connect 4 had everyone hooked – plenty of strategy, a bit of friendly rivalry, and lots of laughs all round. 😄🎉
