Just a heads up for people out there who have flare ups on their skin due to sensitivity, eczema etc…I do offer Oshadhi Organic Jojoba oil and do not necessarily use Ayurvedic oils.

Looking forward so much to training with Anne in Amnanda Ancient healing therapy for trauma. Roots in Tibetan Culture.

Ayurveda in Cheshire clinic will be closed all day Friday 3rd May.

CPD are a must for me to be bringing further skills to my practice for women who appreciate nurturing and development for the mind body and soul.

Anne’s course is being held in Strines which is local to Marple in Stockport.

All treatments in Ayurveda bring about different results for the individual.

Before a treatment the therapist needs to know if the client is:

* Vata dosha
* Pitta dosha
* Kapha dosha
So the correct warm oil is used for that clients dosha & to best bring the client into balance .

During ayurvedic treatments the Marma points are worked on
These are connected to 72,000 NADIS throughout the entire body.
One needs to be trained in Marma massage
Marma points are secret locations in the body that bring about relaxation once they have been worked on .
There is a rebalancing after treatments because the body is then able to allow chi energy to flow more freely throughout the body. This energy is known as PRANA.

Treating marma points will also help to prevent disease or if there is any, it will help treat or cure them.

I find it far too early in January for my clients to take on anything new. We have discussions over this at each clients new year appointments & their attempts to get motivated.

From all the madness of November December
and recovery in January it is difficult to try and plan anything when it is so cold, things like a new diet, a detox,emptying cupboards.

There is a time and place for everything

Don’t beat yourselves up ❤️‍🩹

February is more so inviting
A change in birdsong - spring flowers blooming
A warmer morning with less frost
A lift in one’s spirits

A clients sleep pattern whilst having an Ayurvedic Marma Facial. Logged on her fitness wrist watch .
This encouraged my client to be mindful that when her sleep pattern was not as good as it should be !!
to make sure she listened to her body and book in for ‘ ME TIME’ so that some rejuvenation could take place and bring her dosha back into synch .
