My approach to helping clients focuses on relieving discomfort and restoring balance within the body. Each session is intuitively guided and tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual, recognizing that the body is constantly changing. This dynamic process evolves with each treatment, ensuring that each session remains relevant and responsive to the body's needs. My early career as a dancer sparked an interest in the moving body, which naturally transitioned into massage, soft tissue therapy, and Pilates. Over the years, I have honed my skills and developed a broad range of therapeutic techniques, deepening my understanding of the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit. Currently, I reside in the wilds of North Devon working from clinics in Bideford and Barnstaple . Movement continues to play a vital role in my life, and I understand the challenges of returning to a movement practice after a period of inactivity. To further support my clients, I also offer mat-based Pilates sessions as a BASI-trained instructor. I am currently training with Karin Gurtner in FAMO fascia movement, integrating this approach into my classes and sessions to provide an even more holistic movement experience. I am passionate about enhancing well-being through bodywork, massage, and nature-based practices, and I am committed to contributing to your wellness journey.

This is an extended MELT session with live sound bowls played by Jo Hawker, who’ll be playing along with the room and responding to how we move.
We’ll use soft FAMO fascia massage balls and gentle movement sequences to help the body feel more open, mobile, and reset — the kind of class that leaves you feeling lighter without needing to “push”.
Expect slow, guided sequences and a bit of playful dynamic motion on and around the massage balls, all held in a calm soundscape.
We’ll explore a few simple movement qualities:
Yielding: softening and settling
Gliding: moving with more ease
Fluidity: helping the tissues feel juicier and freer
Adaptability: helping your body respond more easily to change
Friday I am not teaching but class is still running as someone is covering!

From January, I’ll be starting a comprehensive BASI Pilates programme. I’m really looking forward to delving deeper into this work to better support clients — and myself — on our movement journey.
As part of this, I’m offering a small number of one-to-one case studies. These sessions will allow me to practice working with you and utilising the apparatus in our sessions together, both on the mat and on the equipment, and they will also help me fulfill some of the hours I need to complete for my training.
A small fee will cover the room rental. Sessions will take place near Southernhay in Exeter, with 3–4 spaces available on a single day.
If this resonates with you and you’d like to take part, please contact me directly mirandabiodynamic@gmail.com and I’ll send you all the details 🤍

I have worked with a range of clients into top class skiers (pre competition and rehabilitation), weightlifters, circus performers, office workers and anyone who needs a bit of treat for their body, I love a challenge and to help people find balance in their body and bring relief to any strains and discomfort they are experiencing.
My soft tissue therapy treatments combine trigger point therapy, neuromuscular release, deep tissue and myo-fascial release.
I have also spent over 3 years working with those living with Dementia and use a more gentle approach here working with the families to create a unique treatment for them and their loved ones. These treatments are very personal and I provide an aftercare service for each family and care home to help them on their journey.

This treatment does not use oil and can client can be clothed.
Biodynamic Massage is great for those interested in exploring the mind-body connection through touch, whether it be for insight into specific bodily issues, or as a means to self-discovery and change.
About the therapist:
I trained at the London School of Sports and Remedial Massage and the Cambridge Body Psychotherapy Centre specialising in Biodynamic Massage and am a professional member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and Association of Biodynamic Massage Therapists.
Following an injury in my professional dance training I appreciate the mental, physical and emotional strain this can have on an individuals body and mind and general well being.
I believe that soft tissue therapy can help re- educate the body , creating a positive and lasting effect on the body and mind and bringing a sense of control and confidence back to the individual.
I am interested in the emotional anatomy and physiology of the body and am sensitive to how the body responds whilst providing a safe and comfortable space for it to find a place to adjust and move to create a good support to which to work and function.
I look at massage and soft tissue therapy not just as a remedy but a preventative to help protect the body as well as provide relief from aches and pains.
