✨ Flashback to the lockdown days… ✨

A memory popped up this morning…my old group PT timetable.
Back then, I was offering 1-1 sessions in the day, PT every evening, and yoga on the weekends.

It hit me how much I was still doing, even though I’d already left my old career, my ‘old life’.
I was only 2 years into recovering from burnout - still learning how to rest, how to slow down, how to be still.

And yet, I hadn’t realised just how much I was still living in the fast lane.

Now, years later, I’ve shifted more than I thought possible.
I crave slowness. I rest with ease. I feel healed - comforted in stillness.

And I’m so grateful, not just for the balance I’ve found…
But for the chance to support other women in finding theirs too. 🌿

✨Feeling Nostalgic…✨

Every day in lockdown looked a little like this. When we were finally allowed to gather outdoors, this space became our sanctuary.

We called it our gym but it was so much more.

Sunrise warm-ups filled us with hope, strength in the evening sun reminded us of resilience and gentle stretches beneath the stars brought a sense of peace we all desperately needed.

Absolutely loved the little community we created together.

⛰️From the peaceful hills of in , where I guided a gentle pranayama & meditation session to soothe sore heads after their lively cocktail night.

🌞To the serene shores of Beach, offering a post hike stretch & relaxation for a group of friends before their sunset BBQ.

🌊To the soft sands of , where a wonderful hen party group gathered on the beach for an awakening yoga session with the sound of the waves as our backdrop.

🏔️And onto The Keepers Lodge on the , where a vibrant group of ladies flowed to Ibiza chill beats during an energising yoga session with stunning views over and .

It’s been such a joy to hold space in these moments of connection, celebration & stillness.
Thank you to each of you for the warm welcome and the trust to guide you in such special surroundings.

✨How much longer are you willing to wait?✨

Feeling low in energy, confidence or mood… knowing you’re not where you want to be but still not taking that first step?

Watching friends, family or people online make positive changes while you stay stuck in the same loop…
Telling yourself “tomorrow,” but tomorrow keeps slipping by.

Saying no to social invites because you don’t feel good in your body.
Avoiding the dress you once loved, dodging the camera, finding comfort in food instead.
You feel disconnected, like you’ve lost touch with you.

The diet starts Monday… gym booked, but then the excuses roll in.
You blame hormones, age, stress but still take no real action.

‘I’ve tried everything.’
But have you really committed fully?
Have you had someone in your corner who truly gets it and supports you without judgment?

It’s time to let go of that ‘nothing works’ mindset.

Such a beautiful reminder of the amazing moments shared with my wonderful clients over the years.

It’s always been about so much more than just an hour in the gym.

These pics were taken as we celebrated my 3rd business anniversary…such a great night.

I truly wouldn’t be here without each and every one of you. I’m endlessly grateful for your support, for choosing to train and grow with me & for always showing up with such kindness, respect and authenticity.

HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH YOURSELF

✨The pics are obviously both of me.
One with extremely low self esteem/confidence, next to no self worth & battling with my mind & body every day.
✨The other is where I am today. I am balanced, grounded & grateful for my life with a true happy smile on my face.

⭕️I don’t use filters
⭕️I don’t compare myself to others
⭕️Angling the camera 50 x
⭕️Pouting over smiling

Yes, I used to do all the above or felt I was hiding my continued struggles behind ‘heavy’ make up.
Yes, my make up artist was awesome, but I am now comfortable in my own skin.

💕I have spent the whole of my thirties healing, making big lifestyle changes, a lot of inner work to comfortably now say ‘i love & accept myself’. (Forty next year)
✨This journey wasn’t easy & I offered myself time this bank holiday to reflect on my actions, how I now live my life, supporting a positive well-being.
✨I make choices each day, week to nourish my body, to support a stronger mind & allow space for that essential rest because its down to me, to look after me.

‘I have the power, to be gentle with myself.
To be self aware.
To change my thoughts.
To foster my self development.
To mature in my emotional intelligence.
To do the work.
To heal myself.
To be the best version of me.
To forgive myself.
To forgive others.
To believe in myself.
To understand myself.
To accept myself.
To love myself.
To be kind to myself.
To hold the pen in my story, unapologetically.
And no one has the power, to take any of it away from me.’

✨ Easter is a time of renewal and that includes you.✨

Use this long weekend to lean into stillness.
Take a walk in nature, soak up the spring air and celebrate how far you’ve come.
You don’t need to earn rest - you honour it.

Active rest gives your body time to recover from your gym sessions and your mind space to breathe. It’s where the magic of growth happens - quietly, gently, powerfully.

So if you’re slowing down this weekend, know this:
You’re still moving forward.

Progress isn’t just in the workouts - it’s in the balance.
Rest is strength in disguise.

Look after yourself in mind, body & soul.
You deserve to feel good - not just when you’re pushing, but when you’re pausing too.

I think I wrote this for myself… but maybe you needed to hear it too.
Tomorrow I’m giving myself permission for an active rest day - starting the day with a quiet walk around Dunham Massey National Trust

✨6 years ago, I took a leap.✨

Stepping away from a career that was slowly destroying my being - I followed the pull to something that felt more me.

It all started with a single Legs, B***y & Tums class each week.
Just me, a playlist & a group of amazing women showing up with high vibes, big energy and even bigger laughs.

From there, the journey took me on a wild ride…
From in-person to online, into local parks, back indoors and through the whirlwind of lockdowns and tier madness.

And through it all?
I was so lucky to attract the kindest, most respectful, down-to-earth clients - who helped me build such a beautiful heart-centred community.

To every single client - thank you.
For being part of my journey.
For showing up.
For believing in me.
For being you.

✨Let’s talk about the whole “bikini body ready” BS…✨

Those posts are loud on socials right now -
And honestly? It’s just more body shaming dressed up as ‘motivation.’

You don’t need to shrink yourself to step into summer.
You don’t need to earn a bikini or a beach or your own joy.

Here’s the truth:
🌤️ Your body doesn’t need permission.
⛅️ Health isn’t defined by a certain size.
🌥️ Society’s ideals? Still outdated. Still unhelpful.

If you’ve felt that pressure from the fitness world:
The quick fixes. The fat-loss plans.
The subtle (and not-so-subtle) shame tactics…

Ask yourself:
Ready for what, exactly?
To push your body into something it’s not?
To ignore your mental health, your cycle, your life?

You deserve better.

What if, instead of trying to change your body,
You celebrated what it already allows you to do?

Take a breath and say this to yourself:
“My body today is allowing me to…”
✨Move on the mat
✨Walk in nature
✨Laugh with a friend
✨Hug my kids
✨Simply be here, breathing

That’s powerful. That’s enough. That’s worth celebrating.
Movement is a gift — not a punishment.

Your body is already worthy. Always has been 🫶🏼

✨Lockdown Memory - 16th March 2021…We got through that time together, no limitations stopped us…we found our smile, we had fun, we were there for one another.✨

‘THE NEW NORM

It’s certainly worrying & mentally exhausting for many of us through this time.
As we all now begin to transition into the new norm.

⚽️Kids returning to school, sports classes.
📔Returning to the workplace.
🚘Hitting traffic once again making for busy commutes.
😔Ready for a break after working throughout lockdown/ home schooling.
📆Completely out of routine & struggling to get back into one.
🍱Not eating the same foods or eating more than usual because let’s face it, the fridge is there & your working from home!!

List could go on and on 🙄

Yes, the scales may read differently, you may be carrying a little more around the tum right now, but so what!!
Just focus on you, begin to transition into the new norm, start to take little steps forward & you will be back feeling energised very soon.

Feeling unhappy, lack of confidence, low energy, depressed…so tired of your current situation but taking no action❔

Seeing friends, family, colleagues changing their lives whilst watching others through these social platforms.
But again, you take no action to address your own situation.

Saying no to social events as you no longer feel comfortable/confident in your body & instead comfort yourself with food.
Don’t choose to wear that summer dress in your wardrobe you love.
Saying no to having your picture taken.
But again, you take no action.

Feeling disconnected from yourself, lacking self worth, dieting on & off, book a gym class then find every excuse not to go or attend then use all your energy to not attend again that month.
Age getting in the way, hormones, stress levels etc…mmm, but again, you take no action.

”I tried & nothing worked”…sound familiar❔

Have you really tried though, have you committed to the process, hired a coach you are comfortable with, who can support you.

Let go of that f@&k it mentality…nothing worked & take positive steps forward today.

You have to take action to gain more energy, improved mood, increased lifespan, a healthy brain & more confidence.

An hour from your day at the gym is where it begins.
Worst case, it’s your least fav hour of your day.
Best case you feel better after doing it.

Willing to take action…reach out, ask for help & I’ll welcome you to my little community of action takers.
If not, fine…keep watching others take action from this platform.
