Hand of the Wind

Hand of the Wind Offering classes and one to one tuition in Tai Chi, Kung Fu, Qigong and Taoist Yoga in Devon.

Hand of the Wind classes teach the Lee Family Internal Arts as brought to the UK by Professor Lee Chan Kam in the 1930s and then popularised in the second half of the Twentieth Century by Professor Chee Soo. Classes are taught by Conrad Robinson, who has studied these arts for over 25 years and is recognised as an Advanced Instructor within the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain. Classes cover variou

s aspects of the Lee Family System including Tai Chi Chuan, Taoyin Qigong, Kaimen Taoist Yoga, Feng Shou Kung Fu. The truly holistic nature of the style means it has something to offer to everyone, whether their interest lies in the health and relaxation aspects, the martial art or the combination of the two that makes the style really unique.

Sorry, but due to unexpected circumstances there will be no daytime classes at the Studio (Tai Chi or Qigong) on Tuesday 4th March.
All other classes planned to go ahead as usual!

21/02/2025

Next workshop will be Saturday 15th March, 1pm to 4pm at the Paignton Studio.
The workshop will focus on partner work, so two-person exercises intended to help your Tai Chi and Qigong training. Within the Lee Style we have a number of partner exercises ranging from Qi sensitivity exercises through to exercises like 2 hands against 1. We will look at exercises designed to help develop understanding of the '8 Energies' of Tai Chi, but we will not be looking at Push hands training during this workshop.
As usual, places are limited so contact Conrad to book your place.
