“𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.”
Social anxiety is a storyteller.
It whispers:
“They’re judging you.”
“You sound stupid.”
“Don’t say that—you’ll embarrass yourself.”
And because that voice sounds like your own, you believe it.
But here’s the catch: That voice isn’t the truth. It’s a survival script.
It’s memory and imagination trying to shield you from rejection.
If you want peace, you’ve got to challenge the script.
Pause. Breathe. Ask:
“Is this happening now, or is this just fear talking?”
That’s how you start rewiring the story.
