On Sunday we continued with our Bupa 40th birthday Celebrations by inviting the community to join us all at Shockerwick House for the afternoon! It was a pleasure to welcome Bathford Village Choir, who sang beautifully on the main staircase! 🎵🎼 Due to the heat we had to move it indoors, as you can see it was packed!! We had Ice-creams for everyone to enjoy on the day!🍦Jiju prepared snacks and delicious Pimms for us all to sip away whilst listening to their incredible voices! Afterwards we opened the garden to everyone to explore and join together for a picnic on the formal lawn! Thank you to everyone involved it was a perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon! Thank you so much to everyone in the choir, we can’t wait to welcome you back again soon!!!

A little while ago the residents were busy planting sweet peas, sunflowers and a selection of pumpkins!

We have just picked the first bunch of sweet peas and brought them inside for everyone to enjoy!

The sunflowers are getting quite large now and we are looking forwards to see the lovely flowers and pumpkins in the autumn! 🍂
