Everything is connected. We are not separate from nature. We are nature. We need the exchange that takes place between nature and us to stay whole and at peace.

The energy of all things is referred to in Japan as Reiki. Universal Life Force Energy. It runs through all things born from creation.

We are closer to it than you could believe and this energy can be cultivated within to promote good health with Usui Reiki Ryoho.

It feeds my soul to work in such a beautiful place Upminster Sanctuary Complementary Healing and TeachingI spend three mornings a week helping the wonderful Julia run The Sanctuary with admin, sorting courses, posting pictures and ensuring the smooth running of everything.

The rest of my time is spent giving Reiki Treatments and running Reiki Courses. It is a pleasure to guide people in the traditional teachings of Shin Shin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho. I teach Level 1, 2 and eventually Masters to my students who wish to deepen their practise.

Contrary to popular perception Reiki isn’t all about healing others it’s a journey into the self. It’s about finding inner peace and stillness through energy cultivation and mindfulness. It gives you the tools to cope when life gets tough.

If you are called I have one space left for 25th and 26th of this month. It is £220 and I continue supporting students on their journey with monthly shares.

Love this ❤️

Mother Earth does not chase, does not beg, does not force anything to stay.

She holds.

Everything grows from her, feeds from her, returns to her and still, she does not lose herself in what she gives.

And that is where her power lies.

Because giving is not her weakness.

Overgiving is not her nature.

There is a version of you that poured endlessly. That gave your time, your energy, your care without limits believing that the more you gave, the more you would be valued, the more secure things would feel.

But instead,

you felt drained.

Unsteady.
Unreciprocated.
Like you were holding everything, while nothing was holding you.

And that’s the shift Mother Earth teaches.

She nurtures, but she does not abandon herself to do it. She gives, but she remains rooted. She supports life, but she does not collapse under its weight.

She is stable within herself first.

And because of that

Everything else can grow around her.

You were never meant to exhaust yourself trying to be everything for everyone. You were never meant to give so much that you had nothing left to stand on. You were never meant to confuse love with depletion.

You were meant to be grounded.

To give from fullness, not from emptiness.
To support without losing your centre.
To care without sacrificing your own stability.

So if you feel like you’ve been giving too much, holding too much, carrying more than you should.

Come back to yourself.

Root deeper.

Because the moment you become steady within.

You stop needing anything outside of you to feel secure.

And that is where your power becomes something no one can take from you.

Spent the most amazing weekend teaching Okuden to these beautiful souls at Upminster Sanctuary Complementary Healing and Teaching. Embracing the original teachings of Shin shin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho.

We even did Western Attunements in The Sanctuary Garden which is situated on the earth’s leylines which felt quite emotional and very special. The ladies practised mindfulness connecting with nature embracing the connectedness of all things.

So grateful for my new book 125 Waka. These poems are written by The Meiji Emperor and were a massive influence on Usui and his teachings of Usui Reiki Ryoho. Each poem gives insight and wisdom to life’s events and struggles. Students of Usui would study the Waka for their own development.

The Meiji Emperor is today one of the most loved and respected emperors in Japan due to his encouragement in opening up to the West back in what’s know as The Meiji Restoration. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
